To overcome also means To live with it

Jesus Christ says "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

Most of the times when we think of overcoming a problem, we think of running away from it or we have a great desire that it should go away. The disadvantage of doing these is we are not growing any stronger in these situations. By running away or letting go we are just being the same. But instead when we learn to live with it, we are growing strong enough to overcome it. At a certain point we reach a stage when it no longer seems to be a problem.

The learning to live with it is a hard part. I was all happy and healthy the previous day and today I got terribly sick, how do I learn to live with the sickness. My heart and mind is in so much agony and pain that it could have done better, by not to get this sickness. It is painful to live in a difficult situation, but if I have to overcome the situation, I have to accept it. I have to submit. I have to surrender to the will of God. Sometimes it will take months and years to learnt to live with it. But slowly we accept who we are, people around us start accepting us the way we are and slowly we start to overcome that situation and start to live a normal life.

Everytime we choose "Life" we are choosing God. Everytime we need strength, we are calling God. Everytime we fear "Fall", we are holding God. Everytime we smile, we are hoping in God. Everyone who looks at us, sees God's love. Everytime we progress, we Glorify God. Everytime we wake up, we Trust in God.
