Unchanging God in the Changing world..

My work environment is usually too dynamic and keeps changing, with respect to finances, resources, people, requirements, leadership, directions andgoals. They all keep changing so fast.When we try to look at the resources we have changes in people, and when we focus on people we have changesin leadership, and when we have leadership stable we have issues with finances, and keeps going on.I always used to tell my managers this has lots of moving parts and it is always so difficult to keep track of everything. It sometimes seems so crazy the way things change. There was a point when I totally gave up running behind these moving parts and started focusing on the Lord.

Psalm 102:25-28In the beginningyou laid the foundations of the earth,
and the heavensare the work of your hands.
They will perish,but you remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing you will change them
and they will be discarded.
But you remain the same,
and your years will never end.
The children of your servantswill live in your presence;
their descendantswill be established before you.”

As I started focusing on the Lord, He of course started to lead me in the right direction. "Don't look at anyone or anywhere Just look at me. Just focus on my directions." (Listen to my Inner Voice). Carryout what it says with sincerity and dedication. Miraculously, these moving parts no more seem to be disturbing my goals. No matter what part is moving I seem to be focused and I am walking straight.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven:

Now to understand what is happening, Look around me and look at the whole world around me - the sky is moving, the earth is moving, river is moving, sun is moving, moon is moving, trees, animals, fishes stars, birds, including human beings are all moving. They keep changing. Okay.

1 Chronicles 16:30 Tremble before him, all the earth! The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.

Now looking a bit more closer, my mom, my dad, my siblings, my friends, my relatives, none of them are static, they have all been changing, growing old, sometimes happy, sometimes sad, sometimes arguing, sometimescaring, sometimes healthy, sometimes sick. They keep changing. Okay.

Again take a look at my body - though it appears to be of a definite shape, there is digestion, respiration, blood circulation, nervous signals, enzymes, fluids and many other systems moving inside my own body. There isn't any moment when it has not changed. It keeps doing something and it keeps changing. Okay.

Daniel 2:19-21During the night the mysterywas revealed to Daniel in a vision.Then Daniel praised the God of heavenand said: “Praise be to the name of God for ever and ever;wisdom and powerare his.
He changes times and seasons;he deposeskings and raises up others.He gives wisdomto the wiseand knowledge to the discerning.

Now, can I stop or control or change any of these? I really tried hard, nope I cannot stop them from changing. I try to stop it changing from this side, it breaks on the other side and look at the other side, it breaks on one more side. Lord I Give Up. Just do whatever you want. I cannot do anything about it.

Ecclesiastes 8:1 Who is like the wise? Who knows the explanation of things? A person's wisdom brightens their face and changes its hard appearance.

God showed me the only Stable and Unchanging part in my whole Life. It is Him, who is there for me with the unchanging plan in the changing life. You don't have to look at what is changing, just walk in my unchanging plan. Everything will be stable. Your ground, your life, your health, your finances, your family, your profession. Stability starts with Him.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Malachi 3:6 “For I the Lord do not change; therefore you, O children of Jacob, are not consumed.

Hebrews 7:21 but he became a priest with an oath when God said to him: “The Lord has sworn and will not change his mind: 'You are a priest forever.'”

I am greatly encouraged by your blog (especially the quotes above) and the scripture passages that you've referenced to underscore your point.

It is truly amazing how the Lord can redirect our focus so that it can be on Him and bring us such rest... in such a fast changing world.

Thank you, Deepa, for this wonderful blog!
