As a human being,it was always a challenge to me bring in harmony betweentwo super active parts in my body, my heart and my brain. All other organs I feel their presence only when I have any pain, but these two they are always a problem. Anything tempting my heart will immediatly start speak, dream, desire,argue, cry, and the story goes on.Anything not good ornot right or not correct my brain will questionit, value,search, try to understand it. As I grew up, frequentlyI ran into conflicts between my heart and my brain. There happens to be a power struggle between the heart and brain, who ever is stronger wins. Sometimes heart (emotions) and sometimes brain (values / principles).
Amazingly, in Christ they both really learnt to coexist, when my heart works on seeking the will of God, my brain works on actionizing the will of God. When there is something revealed through the vision or in wordby my heart, my wisdom tries to understand, interpret and actionize it so that it carries out the will of God. It is so amazing to read through the Proverbs to understand how important is thewisdom that comes from the Spirit of the Lord and how it refines our life and how much value it adds to our life. For us the Holy Spirit is the prime source ofboth the will of God and the wisdom of God. When we meditate on the cross and fill our hearts with the sacrifice on the cross and when we try to understand the Love of God, the divine wisdom flows into us making our understandings clear and perfect. The Holy Spirit fills our heart with the Love of God and our Brain with the Wisdom of God, this helps them to be in harmony and serve to glorify the Lord. There is no words to explain the peace that fills the insidebeing.
Listen, my sons, to a father's instruction;
pay attention and gain understanding.
I give you sound learning,
so do not forsake my teaching.
For I too was a son to my father,
still tender, and cherished by my mother.
Then he taught me, and he said to me,
Take hold of my words with all your heart;
keep my commands, and you will live.
Get wisdom, get understanding;
do not forget my words or turn away from them.
Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you;
love her, and she will watch over you.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Getwisdom.
Though it cost all you have,get understanding.
Cherish her, and she will exalt you;
embrace her, and she will honor you.
She will give you a garland to grace your head
and present you with a glorious crown.
