2017 in review

Col. 3:1 - 3 Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.  (NIV)

The thing which stands out this past year is again God's faithfulness and love. Without both there would be no hope or even physical life as is known. Was 2017 an easy good year? By earthly accounts not so much personally. In the Lord's eyes, he remained trustworthy to his promise. Never leaving or forsaking. If standing at deaths door step mentally, physically, spiritually; Jesus saw me through.

Though often grief upon grief has occurred in daily life, the Lord always shone through. If darkness consumed heart, soul, or mind. God always provided an escape in Christ Jesus bring Him glory and honor. We truly do make it in life, one day at a time.

Though heart and flesh may fail; The Spirit says come and drink of the water of life. In Christ be found, our worlds may hold hope defeating despair. In Christ the victor I look knowing without Him I am completely lost.

What does the life and world hold which I long? Nothing more than freedom from the chains the earthly temple must endure. Free my spirit in Yours dear Lord. To allowing singing, praise and majesty over coming fear which is death and its' sting.

Help us to walk in a life abundantly as meant by Your word. One filled with spiritual blessings in heavenly places. Help me to be as the first century believers. Conquering the evil one, life, and death as the persecuted church today does by the Blood of the Lamb, word of my testimony, and not loving life unto death.

God you are good all the time whether I see it or not, even when all is falling down around me. Christ remains high and lifted up for all to see. At whose Name every knee will bow and tongue confess He is Lord to the glory of God the Father.

As we look back seeing the faithfulness of God's hand. Gaze forward to see the arms of Christ reaching toward us. One day falling into His embrace forever. Put on spiritual eyes and thrive not with world success and possessions. Thrive spiritually for all creation to see Christ is Lord. Well done good and faithful servants.

Rev. 12:11 - They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death. (NIV)

Wonderful - God is so good, kind loving faithful and long suffering towards those who love him, for he his redeemed and bound us to him for ever.
