A Time To Worship Our Lord God and The King Of Kings

There is no need for me to write much of anything. Just how thankful and with great joy I praise Our Great God and King. He is Mighty to save and The Lord rescues His afflicted ones, as with Sandy and each of us! All Glory, honor, and praise to His Name. May God's word with these songs, minister and lift you up. To a place of worship and praise of the Most High and Holy One over all the earth; where the tender and intimate love of God over come's you in His greatest desire. For you to be filled with the fullness of love, grace and peace in our Lord Jesus Christ!

Psalm 145 “I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever. Every day I will bless You, and I will praise Your name forever and ever. Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts. On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate. Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness. They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness. The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in loving kindness. The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, and Your godly ones shall bless You. They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power; To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom. Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and Your dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to You, and You give them their food in due time. You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing. The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them. The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy. My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, and all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.” (NASB)

Psalm 148 “Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD from the heavens; Praise Him in the heights! Praise Him, all His angels; Praise Him, all His hosts! Praise Him, sun and moon; Praise Him, all stars of light! Praise Him, highest heavens, And the waters that are above the heavens! Let them praise the name of the LORD, For He commanded and they were created. He has also established them forever and ever; He has made a decree which will not pass away. Praise the LORD from the earth, Sea monsters and all deeps; Fire and hail, snow and clouds; Stormy wind, fulfilling His word; Mountains and all hills; Fruit trees and all cedars; Beasts and all cattle; Creeping things and winged fowl; Kings of the earth and all peoples; Princes and all judges of the earth; Both young men and virgins; Old men and children. Let them praise the name of the LORD, for His name alone is exalted; His glory is above earth and heaven. And He has lifted up a horn for His people, Praise for all His godly ones; even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him. Praise the LORD!” (NASB)

Psalm 149 “Praise the LORD ! Sing to the LORD a new song, And His praise in the congregation of the godly ones. Let Israel be glad in his Maker; Let the sons of Zion rejoice in their King. Let them praise His name with dancing; Let them sing praises to Him with timbrel and lyre. For the LORD takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the afflicted ones with salvation. Let the godly ones exult in glory; Let them sing for joy on their beds. Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, And a two-edged sword in their hand, To execute vengeance on the nations And punishment on the peoples, To bind their kings with chains And their nobles with fetters of iron, To execute on them the judgment written; This is an honor for all His godly ones. Praise the LORD!” (NASB)

Psalm 150 “Praise the LORD! Praise God in His sanctuary; Praise Him in His mighty expanse. Praise Him for His mighty deeds; Praise Him according to His excellent greatness. Praise Him with trumpet sound; Praise Him with harp and lyre. Praise Him with timbrel and dancing; Praise Him with stringed instruments and pipe. Praise Him with loud cymbals; Praise Him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD!” (NASB)

Luke 19:36 – 40 “As He was going, they were spreading their coats on the road. As soon as He was approaching, near the descent of the Mount of Olives, the whole crowd of the disciples began to praise God joyfully with a loud voice for all the miracles which they had seen, shouting:

“Blessed is the King who comes in the name of the Lord;

Peace in heaven and glory in the highest!

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, “Teacher, rebuke Your disciples.” But Jesus answered, “I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out!” (NASB)

Beautiful - you can say what you want but the Lord is strongly speaking through your blogs in a wonderful up lifting manner that opens us to the heart of Gods love.

Barbra Lambert @enje25 ·

God is working through you in a most unique way to reveal His tender loving-kindness, for this is what exudes from your writings that The Holy Spirit inspires you to pen.

I love all the scriptures you shared, but the one below was the one that leapt off the page and into my heart:
Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Him, Teacher, rebuke Your disciples. But Jesus answered, I tell you, if these become silent, the stones will cry out! (NASB)
How great is that? Imagine the stones crying out! How powerful!

Lovely sharing, Les.

God bless you in abundance

wmj, Barbra, Hoyle,

Thank you each for your grace and care. I intended to start a different blog a couple of days ago but the Lord constrained. I thought Lord, "anyone can look up scripture on worship/praise and spend time getting songs off the internet."

God let me know the "anyone" was me, in His Spirit now. My sense is in line with wmj's blog of the valley's (read but haven't had the opportunity to write an appropriate comment for such a wonderful message). God impressed me this writing was intended to urge each to a more intimate closer relationship with God than ever.

Why? The lifting up is to heavenly places with Christ. Not for "mountain top" experiences. As wmj and as K. pointed (aptly a week or so ago), to enable us to walk each day in the power of His Spirit. We are not promised tomorrow. Yet if we receive a new day, be prepared in the power of His Might to walk with the lost and dying of the world.

Praise and worship certainly strengthens my heart as God draws near. I get a miniscule glimpse of His delight and desire to empower when my children genuinely thank me ... Oh, my heart leaps with joy! How The Father does delight in the praise and worship of His people moving greatly on their behalf. For he inhabits such!

I know not what lies ahead on my path with a new day. I do know Christ ensured us trouble would come, yet take heart for he has overcome the world! I pray you are strengthened to walk in His Spirit and receive power from on high as you draw nearer to The Father's heart and eyes in praise and worship. He is the Lord God Almighty and King of Kings! Worthy is He! And God wants US to have His heart and eyes!

I understand more what Paul meant in his penning by the Holy Spirit. Writing different churches and one's saying they were his joy and crown before God. This is exactly how I hold each of you! And thank Christ our Lord and Savior for placing you in my life.

Forever grateful in Him,

K Reynolds @kreynolds ·

Regardless of our circumstances, there is something amazing that happens when we lift up our hearts and voices in praise and worship of God. It transforms everything, doesn't it. Despair, uncertainty, fear and even self fades away and there is only God.

In the above comment you wrote:

You are such a blessing! As you realize your mortality more than most, so I also realize the edge of a razor all of us are on in regards to losing our faculties. My razor is a single edge blade while yours is a quatro plus!

I with you desire to walk in Christ's Spirit as He would direct. My days though numbered are filled with the joy of God and His beloved people like you. I desire to participate with each of you in bringing God's love to a world looking for the true Answer, The lord Jesus Christ. which is Him.

Grace in Him,

Sarah Vm @godissogood ·

You know how sometimes a line of Scripture makes you do a real double-take?
"The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works."
My mind explodes at this idea. Considering the unfathomable greatness of His works ... well His mercy ... WOW. Just WOW.
Thank you Lord!
And thank you Les, I will be leaving this open for a good meditative read-through again when it isn't ten past two in the morning!
May God bless you and all the family.
