An Offering of Thanks and Praise

Gal. 5:22, 23 - But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. (NASB)

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for today for Your Spirit and Word. I write a simple thanks to You! Though others grow tired of hearing my woes … Thank you there were no anxiety attacks today! Thank you Lord Jesus. Praise Your Name!

I sound like those thanking You for a day without drink. There has not been a day like this for two years. Only something, the Lord of all could do. Thanks and praise to Your Name! Giving rest to my soul, what wondrous grace!

Speaking now of Your yoke easy and light. You are gracious to all who seek You. Lord, I ask the Spirit helps make this a day of remembrance. During times of trouble, recalling I know the Savior holds me tight. Christ has overcome the world!

The enemy came to steal rest. Giving ground doing his best, I succumbed for a while. In Christ Jesus the Lord, You restored and smiled. Lord, You are mighty and strong to save! You ask, is Jesus worth it, a question so grave? If wanting resurrection in all areas of life. It requires crucifixion, oh how I fight. I do not want to die but yes I do. Help Holy Spirit, I need You!

How hard, dying to live! It can only be done through Your Son! Promising to never waste a thing, oh Lord let us hear You sing. Father, I offer your written Word. Heart filled with thanks, knowing it is alive and moves. As this day draws to a close, I give thanks and bless Your Name!

II Cor. 4, 7 - But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the surpassing greatness of the power may be of God and not from ourselves. (NASB)

Lord God, this vessel knows it has no power except in Christ.  Lord, You truly are the air I breathe and ultimate sacrifice!

Acts 17:28 - for in Him we live and move and have our being … (NKJV)

Father by Your mercy, I rise each day and move through this world. It is by the grace of God, a gift on high.

Gal. 5:24 - And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with it passions and desires. (NKJV)

Lord a tough one. Please strengthen me, laying body and soul on Christ's cross each day. Only in death are all things made new. Then each area of life is found in You! The world beholds a mighty Savior shown.

Thinking of me, You sent Your Son. How grateful I am, You see me through. Father this song I sing to You.

I pray these things in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Amen.
