When Feeling Undone

Psa. 42:4-5 "My heart is breaking as I remember how it used to be: ... Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad?" (NLT)

The Holy Spirit is pressing though all around crumbles; health, relationships, finances and no promise circumstances improve. Dwell not on difficulties and problems. Consciously place heart and mind in hope of God our Savior! Waves crashing down upon me covering, sweeping over, and washing under. Forget not the Lord God as hope and salvation. Through His word in Psalm 42, no guarantee exists all becoming 'right' in this temporal life.

Many say, 'Look at the condition of his life. Where is the God he calls too? Why is this God not rescuing and allowing a life of ruin?' No! I will remember Your loving kindness placed on my life All days. Looking not at this decaying vessel and world the sons of men were born to die. Though I may call out asking, 'Where are You oh my God? Why have You abandoned me?' No, I will cease and give thanks to Him Who is worthy of all praise! Recall this world is not my home. You oh Lord are worthy of All Things!

Psa. 42:5 - "Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him, For the help of His presence." (NASB)

No, even though days of old contained celebration, feasting, and gathering together before the Lord. Now, considered an outsider to avoid who reaps what was sown. Still my face will shine and countenance beam as hope is placed in Christ my Lord. What others think is not true. Only You Lord in Your wisdom know from on High. Choose today regardless of life circumstances to put hope in God. Christ saves spirit and being forever to be in God's presence. My heart and soul cry out trusting in the redeeming Lord!

Dwell not on troubles my soul; put your hope in God. Even as life in the physical does not change and decline continues ... You Lord God sit on the throne! Your song is placed over me and Spirit does not depart at night. Calling to You in prayer Lord of Life. 'Why so sad and discouraged oh my heart and soul? Do not look too the things of earthly life. No, place your hope in God! It is not wearisome to repeat; Put your hope in God!'

Praise the Rock higher than I, put your hope in God. Watch your countenance lifted on high, with Christ seated at the right hand of The Father! What disables your physical and mental life may not change says the Spirit. Your hope and salvation comes through Christ Jesus, your Great God and Savior! Though consuming tears day and night, All the day long. God is my help and portion.

Though you slay me, still I will praise You! My Redeemer and God! Who can understand the way of the Most High? Your Spirit reveals much of the depths of God. Until that day beholding Your face, much hidden wisdom remains with You. The Lord God holds much to reveal and whisper in heaven.

Oh, to have 'The patience of Job,' though complaining first then showed You are above all. The 'Faith of Abraham,' first trying to fulfill the promise with man's effort. How great is the Lord's longsuffering? The 'Wisdom of Solemn,' given but thrown away in disobedience with foreign wives and idols. The confidence of Paul enduring a thorn in the flesh, yet earlier braking with a dear friend in anger. How great is the grace of God which is sufficient in all things?

'Why so done cast oh my soul? Put your hope in God. Why in such despair and so dismayed my heart? Hope and praise the Lord oh my soul. See countenance of heart and life lifted through Him seated on High! Sing and pray to your God and Fortress. Remember, time spent in His Word to write is good. No matter the motivation. You speak and use the Word as a live and active two edged sword for the Spirit to speak the truth of God. Now, what is written is an offering to the Lord. Praise His Mighty Name on High! Amen.

Psa. 42:11 - "Why am I discouraged? Why is my heart so sad? I will put my hope in God! I will praise him again - my Savior and my God!" (NLT)

Wonderful depths and heights in the Love of God - thank you for the writing of this blog. A blog I have longed to read

K Reynolds @kreynolds ·

Reading your blog this morning reminded me of a scripture passage I read this morning and posted in community.

"Remember your promise to me; it is my only hope.
Your promise revives me; it comforts me in all my troubles." Psalm 119:49-50

Your blog was yet another reminder that God is my hope and I need to
Focus on his promises.

What a beautiful tribute to the Lord during these great times of trial for you, dear friend. I am deeply touched by His faithfulness to you... reminds me of that marvelous hymn "What a Friend We Have in Jesus"...

These are extremely difficult times for many but God will always be our Rock. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers and will remain so.

Love in Christ...
