Last night out of desperation i posted a blog asking for prayers for my son who is in a Psych hospital for suicide attempt. I am so excited to share that last night as we prayed a woman my son had never met came to him and gave him a bible. She told him she used to be agnostic before she read this bible. One she had carried with her every year for 15 years. Now she wanted him to have it! He said he stayed up half the night reading it and has been reading it all day and he prayed for me over the phone for God to help me get through the challenges i am facing. What a difference a day can make. What a glorious God we serve! What power there is in prayer! thank you so much each of you who took the time to lift Mitchell up. Your time was not wasted your prayers made all the difference! i am forever grateful to each of you. Please continue to pray for us, satan would love to come in and undo what those prayers have done. I know our God and savior is protecting us and i believe now more than ever that my son will be whole again and will one day use all of this for God's glory! Thank you again! Praise Jesus he has helped my unbelief in a way i could not have fathomed last night!
I forgot to mention that today he looked for the woman to thank her but he was told she is gone. She checked out this morning. It was her last night there and her final act was a beautiful example of selflessness giving away her treasure that had sustained her for 15 years. Just amazing!
Praise God . . . to God be all the glory!
What a wonderful example of the love of God and His working in our lives. My heart is dancing with yours. Will continue to pray for Mitchell, you and your whole family.
May God continue to bless you in His will through our Lord and Savior Jesus.
I am in tears. Mitchell came up several times last evening while praying and listening to God. To God the Father be all the glory through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is not going to let go of your son. Praise and thank you God. Rejoicing with you. Prayer will continue for Mitchell, you and your family. Absolutely wonderful news!
