I Know That I Know That I Know

I Know That I Know That I Know In these times of mounting uncertainty, I find it very comforting for my spirit to rest on and for my mind to meditate upon those irrefutable truths upon which my faith is firmly footed. Perhaps the list that I've begun may help some of you as well. Feel free to comment with those truths that help calm the internal strife with which the enemy of the brethren intends to torment you. 1. God is on His Throne, the only throne that is eternally everlasting. 2. God is the Alpha and the Omega; as such He knows everything that happens in the middle. 3. Jesus, born of a virgin, is God Incarnate and lived on this earth as God In Flesh, while leading a perfect and sinless life. He willingly gave His life and suffered physical death to atone for the sins of man. He hung on a cross at Calvary out of His love for me. 4. Physical death was no match for the Power of Our Savior. Despite being buried in a borrowed tomb, Jesus defeated death and rose again on the third day. 5. After He rose again, Jesus appeared to His disciples. 6. At the appointed time, Jesus ascended to Heaven and is seated as the Right Hand of God, interceding for me. 7. Jesus promised His disciples the Comforter and sent the Holy Spirit to help guide me in my daily walk with Christ. 8. God is the provider of every good thing in my life. 9. Satan is the father of all lies and wants nothing more than to see me miserable and defeated. 10. My salvation is secure because Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior and lives within me. 11. There is nothing too big or too small for God. 12. Simple, childlike faith is the key to living the victorious life here on this earth. 13. Supercilious and vain debates over finer-than-frog-hair points of contention with regard to my faith are useless, wasteful and profit me nothing. 14. God knows right where I am and has good thoughts towards me. 15. The enemy has already been defeated. I pray that as you read through my list that you do find some comfort from what you read. May you be abundantly blessed in all circumstances. YSIC, Virginia

I pray that more believers take the time to come up with a simple list such as this to staple to their foreheads backwards so they can see it and think about it a few million times per day. Christians have a bad habit of sticking their heads in the sand when pressures mount around them. This profits no one. Instead of the sand, we need to stick our heads in the heavenlies and force our minds to remember what God says and not what "Dr. So and So" says or "noted expert Such and Such".

The present times are unlike any other most of us have ever lived through. Things are happening daily which are unprecedented and unpredictable. It behooves us as God's people to do whatever it takes to remain strong, confident and at peace regardless of what does or does not go on around us.

Please, anyone reading this timely little blog, slow down and think about what is written here and WHY it was written. God is speaking to His people through many of the blogs currently on this site; this one VERY MUCH included.

Thanks,
B2Y

It is so important that we continuously remember who God is. It is so important that we remember what God has said in his Word regardless of our circumstances! [bible]Psalms 18:1-3[/bible]

If God gets all the praise and all the glory, then we know we are in the neighorhood of the truth. Amen.

this is simply the truth. nothing more but the truth. i wish we could all take the gospel the way she has just laid it out, the walk on earth would be easier for Christians to enjoy each day of their lives.

thanx for that

What a great list! It is important to be reminded of those things, especially in the difficult times. One of my favorite reminders is found in John 16:33 where Jesus says, "In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
