Baby Steps

After reading a blog this morning on here that touched my heart and inspired me to write this, all glory goes to God.  I titled it "baby steps", what are baby steps?  how does a baby walk?   well in a nutshell, very slow, alkward, failling alot, getting back up maybe taking a step or two then falling again.  What i am discribing here is actually the spititual walk of a true Christian, I want to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ, we have to learn how to walk before we can run,  baby step christianity is the only way to grow in grace,  one day at a time, try not to even thing about tomorrow but stay in the day and pray for his grace to get you through it, and dont think about the failures of yesturday because His mercies are renewed each morning,  keep you hope fixed totally on Christ,  allow the seed that was sown in your heart to take root.  An intimate relationship is a relationship that is built over time, trust in the one that died for you, read his word, and believe it, talk to Him in prayer, surround yourself with your brothers and sisters in Christ, but mostly importantly know the love of God and how He looks at you through Christ, understand who you are in him because how you see yourself in Him will be in direct relation to who He is to you.  God bless

:welcome: to CB! As I read your blog, I thought about my grandson who is 15 months old today. He was nine weeks premature and spent nearly eight weeks in the hospital. When that happens, you look for those milestones even more so because it usually takes a bit longer to reach them during those early years at least.

A couple of months ago he started to stand and then take some tentative steps. He is walking now but it took time. There were a lot of falls, some bumps and bruises but those very things were just as crucial to learning to walk as his victories. He learned how to fall "gracefully". He learned how to get up again. He learned from his experiences about what to do and what not to do. He learned how to prevent falls...most of the time.

Excellent blog! Thank you.
