Beautiful children taken away

I was very troubled when this shooting happened. My mind had a very difficult time wrapping itself around the idea that young children were targeted. I wrote this poem in memory of those beautiful children and their teachers. Beautiful children taken away. Beautiful Children Taken Away December 15, 2012 Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day Being children young and carefree Will never again climb a tree Look forward to a little league game Family life will never be the same Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day From this life they were taken Never to play in the sun again To fly a kite or run and sing Or play around a duck goose ring Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day Never enjoy more birthday candles Will never again make snow angels They were welcomed by angels above To be with the God of infinite love Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day By a young man with evil intent Mentally twisted distorted and bent With no regard for human life With his life filled with strife Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day Shall God have mercy on his soul For accomplishing his evil goal People died because of his free will With a heart of evil that longs to kill Beautiful children taken away Suddenly while at school one day They went that day feeling no fear Loving parents and teachers near So many people suddenly taken A community now emotional shaken Sandy Hook Elementary School, Newtown, Connecticut KraftyKatz :coffee: Matthew 19:14 Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Beautiful blog. Very touching and moving. Twenty children in the States, ten children in Pakistan yesterday. Truly we live in a world steeped deep in sin .

But this blog moves me to prayer for the parents and families of all touched by this senseless act of violence.

Beautiful, kk. Thank you. Your pain has produced a gift for the rest of us who are also feeling that pain.

"Shall God have mercy on his soul/for accomplishing his evil goal"

The beauty of grace is that if he was a believer, God will indeed have mercy on his soul, no matter how evil his act. The world can't accept that, because it thinks that whatever he has done is unforgiveable. But our God of all compassion and mercy knows that hearts can belong to Him and still suffer from mental illness.
