GLORY DIVINE, a new poem

Glory Divine a new poem This is another of my more recent poems. I will be sharing several and will keep them in a series. I shared this poem with friend Ruth. This is her response in an e-mail dated 10/29/12; Thank you, Marsha. This is lovely...I love that verse from Isaiah...did you know that just before an eagle dies, it is able to soar higher than it has ever soared in its life? Glory divine I saw a glimpse of glory today the glory that is to be mine Glory divine that is waiting for me at the end of my time My heart did sore at the wonder of what is yet to be Knowing that someday from this life I will be set free When from this painful body my soul shall depart Oh what joy and delight will suddenly fill my heart! Nothing evil will be allowed, no violence hatred or greed From this mortal life and all its pain, we are finally freed Jesus went ahead to prepare a place, our place in eternity A place where peace and love prevail a place of serenity As on the wings of eagles I soar I will find tranquility All the ugly of the world is gone all we see is infinity Isaiah 40:30-31 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, will wake and not grow faint. NIV KraftyKatz :coffee:

Beautiful Katz'

I find this poem to have special meaning to me. It truly defines the scripture referenced.

This is the scripture verse my brother picked for his headstone before he passed away.
