Many years ago when my husband works nights I made chocolate fudge. Or rather something that was supposed to be chocolate fudge. It was hard. I had to crack it into pieces rather then cut it into squares. I left it on the counter and went to bed disgusted with my efforts. The next morning my husband said he loved the chocolate flavored hard candy and could I make some more as he ate most of it. Well, I said that is not possible because it was suppose to be chocolate fudge. I have no idea what so ever what I did that made to turn into hard candy. Life is like that some times. We plan certain things and we think we do everything correctly but something goes wrong. Yet the end results are acceptable. It makes no sense does it? God is in control, even when we are not. Failing on making fudge is not the important thing. Learning what I did wrong in this instance changes nothing in what God has planned for me. When we make a mistake in other areas of our lives especially in the spiritual and personal areas, it is important to learn the errors and correct them when it is within our power to do so. Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” KraftyKatz :coffee: did learn how to make real chocolate fudge. Husband bought me a candy thermometer for Christmas.
Great blog! Nice to know sometimes good can come from mistakes...sometimes lessons are learned and we improve where we went wrong! Now I'm curious about chocolate hard candy! That was so funny!!
