I know a number of people here at CB have been praying for me in regards to my upcoming cerebral angiogram. Six months or so after a coil is placed in a brain aneurysm, they want to take a look at how things are going. Even though this was a routine check-up, it still creates some anxiety. Having a wire inserted and going up through your body and into your neck plus having dye shot into your brain so it will show up in pictures is not most people's idea of fun. I have to admit the pictures were interesting though. I got a good look at that little coil of titanium in my head. Amazing!
I was told that one of two things would happen:
I was hoping for option two. I did not get option two. I got option, well wait a minute... there is no option three. I have it! I got Option "K" as in "K "!
What is Option K?
Option K: Things will look so good that I will not have to come in a year from now for a cerebral angiogram. I will not have to come in until two years from now.
Option K is rare. It is so rare that they do not even tell you that there is Option K until they know that you meet the criteria for Option K.
Seriously, I'd like to thank everyone here for their prayers. I know a number of members prayed for me back in December when I was in ICU and I know people have continued to remember me in their prayers.
Words cannot describe the thankfulness that I feel for those prayers. My friends, it is good to do life with you as we all do life with God!
Sister k, thanks for sharing. May the Lord grant you your heart's desire and to grant wisdom to the doctor to advise you correctly and to the best of your interest. May the Lord also grant you peace and give you strength in the days ahead.
Will remember you in my prayer. Do take good care of yourself
