Absolutely Nothing Can Separate Us From The Love Of God

This morning, I was reading a blog that had been written five weeks ago by my friend, Kirk M (@blessings2you), who has been in intensive care for the past two weeks. In his blog entitled What Does It Mean To Be More Than A Conqueror he wrote:

There is no doubt in my mind that no matter how tough things get in this life (sickness, mental pressure, foreclosure, homelessness, hunger, persecuted, imprisoned, executed etc) ABSOLUTELY NOTHING can separate me from the love of God in Christ Jesus my Lord. This love allows me to more than conquer the doubts, fears, anxieties and worries that lead to cracks in my relationship with God. Our absolute persuasion that God loves us is the key to victory over the mental pressure and distress that attempts to break our back spiritually and render us a spiritual invalid.

Based on the blogs he has written, the conversations I have had with him over the years and the things I have observed, I know that these were not just pretty words he was writing. He believes them with all of his heart and so do I.

There are times that we pray and immediately the problem will be solved. The sick rise up from their bed, the cancer vanishes without a trace, you lose your job and before you can even get out the door, you have 10 job offers for a better position. That's the way we want it to be and when that happens, it is very easy to declare that you have faith, that you trust in God. In reality though, such a declaration in times like that requires no faith whatsoever.

Faith requires that we cling to the promises of God regardless of our circumstances and regardless of the outcome that we see. Faith declares that we can trust God. He is faithful and nothing, NOTHING can separate us from the love of God. Nothing.

I posted this video on the wall but after thinking it over, I decided to place it here as well.

Blessings!

How true this is!

Kirk's sufferings have been great; but he is one who has learned exactly what he has so eloquently written above. Thank you for sharing it, K :princess:.

I been meditating a lot on the word 'hope' lately. In our God, our Lord Jesus Christ, we have much 'hope'. People let us down. Our health, our professions, house, automobile, things of that nature, disappoint us often.

But God gives us much 'hope' in Him. Nothing in this world can take away that hope. I believe Kirk is resting in that knowledge even now. Praise God for that. God bless you.

K.,

Thank you for sharing. With faith, the substance of things hoped for and evidence of things not seen - he and Beth know nothing can separate them from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

In him,
Les

Yes.

Faith is more than just seeing GOD give us all the boon in this secular world, heal us all the sickness, raise us to high position in this secular world...

Faith is the perseverance to believe in GOD that GOD exist. GOD is the greatest love and GOD is Almighty, even if we are in all the secular adversity. We believe that there is huge grace within the bitter wrap (the sufferings that we face currently). We believe that we will see GOD's grace.

Just like Jesus Christ, our LORD. The Father does not give HIM the good and splendid things in the secular world. Jesus Christ is not a noble and HE is just a carpenter living in poor supplies. Jesus Christ is hate by a lot of people at that time. Jesus Christ does not even have HIS place to lay HIS head. Jesus Christ is flogged and crucified eventually. However, Jesus Christ, after all these, is raised by the Father and comes back with all the glory.

Philippians
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:
2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Let's encourage each other, even if our prayers are not answered according to our will, we will still stoutheartedly have faith in GOD and HIS words.

Even Kirk sleeps eventually, this is still a great grace from GOD to him. This is because GOD think that HIS good son, Kirk, has done a good job for HIM and receive him back to heaven with the Father. This is a great glory. Still remember the loved sons of GOD: Enoch and Elijah, who are received back to heaven gloriously. If Kirk really sleep, Krik is returning to the Father gloriously, believe he will go back to the heaven by means of the Chariot of Fire.

In Christ love,

Amen!
