All Praise Belongs To You!

This morning I awakened with the words of a song we often sing at church running through my mind over and over again.

Be Glorified Praise belongs to You Let every kingdom bow Let every ocean roar Let every heart adore You now

Praise belongs to You
What can I do but sing
The greatest joy I've found
Is to lay a crown before my King
Before my King

I've come to worship
I've come to lift up Your name
For You deserve this
Life laid down like the one that You gave
I have but one voice
One heart and one sacrifice
So won't you take this
life laid down and be glorified
Be glorified

Praise belongs to You
Let songs and children rise
You silence all Your foes
You set Your glory in the skies

Praise belongs to you
Creation calling out
For the King to be revealed
Oh King of Heaven come down
King of Heaven come down

Cause I've come to worship
I've come to lift up Your name
For You deserve this
Life laid down like the one that You gave
I have but one voice
One heart and one sacrifice
So would you take this
life laid down and be glorified
Be glorified
Be glorified
Be glorified

I've come to worship
I've come to lift up Your name
For You deserve this
Life laid down like the one that You gave
I have but one voice
One heart and one sacrifice
So would you take this
life laid down and be glorified
Be glorified
Be glorified
Be glorified

(Be glorified) I've come to worship
(Be glorified) I've come to lift up Your name
(Be glorified) For You deserve this
Life laid down like the one that You gave
(Be glorified) I have but one voice
One heart and one sacrifice
(Be glorified) So would you take this
Life laid down and be glorified

As I contemplate the prayers that went up this past year for my friends, B2Y and his wife Blest and reflect upon what God has done in their lives, I find my heart is overflowing with praise. However, regardless of what the outcome was, I know that God is ALWAYS worthy of our praise. Always.

On Friday, I get to go get poked and prodded by my oncologist. I get to do this three times a year over the course of the next several years. Regardless of the outcome, I want to praise God for He and He alone is worthy of ALL praise and worship. Through all the good times and all the bad times, I want to always remember that ALL praise belongs to Him... every moment of my life, regardless of what it may look like at the moment. I always want to be willing to offer up all that I am to Him. It may not be much but... amazingly it is exactly what He wants!

Blessings!

You can rest assured that I will be diligently praying for you on Friday that it is nothing more than an inconvenient trip to the doctor's office.

Thank you and others for the prayer cover I enjoyed yesterday and I look forward to providing said cover for any of you who need it.

Praise be to God for His infinite mercy and grace and power to usward who believe.

Dear Little Sister K.. you are always in my prayers, but you will be much more so Friday. I know your health is already in His hands, so I will instead pray that He will give you comfort (know you cannot help but worry about it) until the doc tells you those magic words..

Love ya! God Bless!

To All My Friends,

I featured this blog this morning because I was contemplating on how much God deserves and desires our praise. I did not stop to think that I might cause concern amongst those of you who uphold me in prayer. Concern that I was headed back to see my oncologist as I had only seen him and received a good report a few weeks ago. I apologize for any alarm I may have caused. I did go to see my oncologist for a routine visit (I see him three times a year) back on October 9. Things are still looking good! God did remove all anxiety from me prior to my visit. Praise the Lord!

I know a number of people prayed for me in regards to that matter. Thank you.

Blessings!
