I finally got a chance while my students are doing some quiet work to post a quick update from B2Y's wife. She sent a pm to me about an hour ago to let me know that B2Y came through the surgery well and he did not have to have the bypass. She told me he said "Take the banner down!"
She told me they have been very moved by everyone's support here at CB and I'm sure we'll hear more about it later from them. She will be sending me a more detailed update this evening.
I know I cried when I saw such an outpouring of love for our brother and sister here at CB. It was amazing reading all of the wonderful prayers and I know there were some amazing messages posted in the Chronic Disease Survivors group I run to which they belong.
Amazing things happen when the Body of Christ comes together and is of one mind. No, we do not "force" God to do anything but we are admonished to pray and support one another when one of us is treading a dark path. This is just one of the many ways that we put our love for one another in action and loving one another as Christ loves us is just another way that we reflect our love for God and His unconditional love for us! 1 John 4:7-8
Thank you Jesus for your faithfulness. Thank you that the GREAT PHYSICIAN took charge of the whole thing. In this time of recovery I ask that B2Y and Blest will know your absolute peace as you continue the healing work within both of them. I pray that the Angels encamped around them would remain steadfast to their task so that absolutely no-one and absolutely nothing can disrupt the work you have done and are doing in your servants.
Thank you K for keeping the updates going. God bless you for being such a wonderful servant of God.
Praise the Lord . . . once again I thank Him for His goodness and loving care of our brother.
Thank you for the good news. I've been praying all day for this good news.
Believing God in NC
Hallelujah! What a mighty God we serve.
"Never a heartache and never a groan
Never a tear-drop and never a moan
Never a danger but there on the throne
Moment by moment, He thinks of His own.
Never a weakness that He doth not feel
Never a sickness that He cannot heal
Moment by moment, in woe or in weal
Jesus my Saviour, abides with me still.
Moment by moment I'm kept in His love
Moment by moment, I've life from above
Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine
Moment by moment, O Lord I am thine."
Extracted from Moment by Moment by Daniel W Whittle
The above words must be the testimony of B2Y until... ... ...he pens them himself.
