Early Friday morning, while it was still dark, I was tapping on the keys talking to Kbird who was still up and about. For those of you who don't know, I live in Minnesota, USA and my sister-friend and twin here at CB, Kbird lives in New Zealand. Since she is from New Zealand, Kbird moves very fast you know, especially in the summer. She is currently 19 hours ahead of me. This meant she was now into Saturday while I was barely getting started on Friday. I am slow and fear I will never catch up with her! LOL!
While we were chatting, I happened to catch a glimpse of the beautiful full moon hanging just above the trees in the northwestern sky. I commented on it and Kbird responded by saying that she could see the moon high in the northeastern sky... we were both looking at the moon at the same time. Oh, the moon may have been setting in Minnesota and still high in the sky in over New Zealand but it was the same moon and we were still gazing upon it at the same time.
Suddenly, the world seemed like a much smaller place as two dear friends who "walk together" chatted and gazed at the moon.
As Irish just said..."You think about the millions of miles away that the moon is, and Minnesota doesn't seem that far".
That was such an amazing experience for me. God has given me so much in allowing me to be here. I am truly blessed.kb
Very neat concept...as all those that are friends on CB, you two are VERY blessed to have each other as friends, sisters and 'twins' :)
I would pity my twin :(
