God's Not Done With Your Story

It was one of those moments when you hear words that are worth remembering. When I heard these words proclaimed by one of my pastors yesterday morning, I quickly jotted them down. I didn't want to forget them.

God's not done with your story!

In all honesty there have been times in my life when I was certain He was. This was it. My story was over, it was finished. This is it. The End.

I was wrong.

You see my story and your story for that matter are not over until God says it is over. There may be a new chapter or a new setting. There may even be a sequel, a continuation of your story as it takes off in a brand-new direction but God is not done with your story. In fact, because His Word tells us that if we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ we shall not perish but have everlasting life, our story will neverend.

Sometimes your "story" takes a turn and becomes a nightmare. You find yourselfin a place younever wanted to be. Perhaps it is a place of shattered dreams. Perhaps it is a place of loss. Perhaps you have been broken to the point that you are completely shattered and without hope. God's not done with your story.

Dare to believe, not in what you see, think or even feel but in the promises of God. He loves you with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). He loves you so much that the Lamb of God was sacrificed that you might be saved (John 3:16). He will never leave you nor forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5). He is the One Who Goes Before You and will always be with you(Deuteronomy 31:8). He will guide you continually, giving you what you need when you need it and you will will be like a well-watered garden and ever-flowing spring... even in the desert (Isaiah 58:11).

As someone said to me yesterday, " Gods not finished with us until he says so",
