Guess what? Gracie's back!
My heart is singing for I got a glimpse of my friend, Savedbyegrace aka Gracie the other day. Then I saw a new blog by her. Hooray! I love Gracie's blogs! They are always such a blessing to me!
I became a dedicated reader of Gracie's blogs when I first joined CB back in July 2007 and I was honored to find that she was reading mine. As I battled cancer her words, whether in her own blogs, in comments on the blogs of others or as comments within my own blogs were such a blessing to me. Although we have never met face to face, I have always felt like she is a precious friend.
Like most if not all of us, life has not always been easy but over the past few years that I have had the privilege to know her, she has never ceased to remind me of God's love and grace. Gracie, I just want to thank you for being the lovely of God that you are and let you know how glad I am to see you here again. Though we have dropped each other a line or two now and then, thanks to PCI, I have missed seeing you here at CB and I am so glad we got to chat for awhile the other night.Back!

I think I just might cry . . . because I can't believe that as much grace as I have learned from watching you, from seeing your faithfulness and your tenacity, and your love played out on this site, that you could ever possibly get anything from me.
But isn't that how God works?
Isa 61:3 "They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor"
And honey, if he planted me, and he planted you, he meant for us to be in the same garden, for such a time as this.
It is like coming home, and I love you, and all of you. Or as we say in the South, I love all y'all.
Me too, Me too, Me too (bethy jumping up and down to be seen over the tall people) . I too want to say welcome back. There is always something soul warming about a blog that begins with the words.. Grace to... .
Plus you have made me laugh today... I love to laugh.
Ohh and did you know that the Irish version of all y'all is.. all a' ya!!
I've only been here a few mos., but have already felt the sadness of meeting & losing folks here...
Won't it be great when we're all together forever with our King?
Shalom a' ya!!
Amen, Marjorie! And you might not remember, but you responded very kindly to a blog I posted in April after I found out that my son wasn't going to finish college quite yet. You suggested that I read through the psalms.
I'm reading through the psalms myself right now.
We are adding a new son (aged 10) to our family, & sometimes it's hard on our already adopted boy...
Psalms are just so BIG, I feel- I don't even have a word for it- but it's very good, when I'm in the Psalms.
Oh, & welcome back!
