It's a world of laughter,
A world of tears.
It's a world of hopes,
And a world of fears.
There's so much that we share,
That it's time we're aware,
It's a small world after all.
Earlier today in chat, I was reminded of what a small world we truly live in. Sitting at home with a snowstorm swirling around me, I was talking to five people different people in a relatively short time. While it is true that one of them only lives well under two hours away from me, the others live a great distance away from Minnesota. One person was in Delaware, another person was in Northern Ireland, someone else was in England and yet another person was in Scotland.
Earlier I had been chatting with Shani Matthews (@Shanijane) in Australia and Alison Stewart (@Kiwibird) in New Zealand. LOL! I am thinking about how I was in my car awhile back. My cell phone rang and when I answered it... it was Kbird! Why she sounded like she was sitting right there in the car with me.
One of the wonderful things about CB, is that it has taken me beyond the boundaries of my own little world. Those here who know me best, know how much I love that. It has enabled me to get to know more Christians around the world on a personal level and allowed me to get to know some of them very well. I know there are others here who can say the same.
Sharing with one another, laughing together, crying together, praying together and just plain doing life together as we do life with God... that is what being a member here at CB has meant for me. Physically, it is a very big world... but to God, it is not and I am rejoicing that God is joining His people together across the miles.
