I've been browsing through blogs and praise reports the past few days and I am simply rejoicing. I have to tell you I can scarcely contain myself as I read about what God is doing. I'm not talking about things He did two or three thousand years ago. I'm not talking about something He did for someone's uncle's friend's cousin's best friend's sister-in-law's pet sitter. I'm talking about what God is doing for us, yes us, right here at Christianblog.com.
I've read about children and grandchildren being born. I've read about about relationships being healed and restored. I've read about healing. I've read about God's provision. I've read about how God has lifted people up when they were in despair and strengthening them. I've read about God's protection. The list goes on and on.
Yes, people have suffered terrible losses. Yes, people have been in fearful situations. However, at the end of the day, we are still here standing with God right beside us. This is what it is all about. God wants to do life with us! This is why He didn't just wave his hand at Adam and Eve and say, "Too bad. Goodbye. You're done. I'm canceling you and starting the new production line tomorrow." God wants to do life with us because for some inconceivable reason He loves us with unfathomable love. Why? Your guess is as good as mind. He's God and He can love us if He wants to. All I can say is I'm glad He does!
1 Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. 2 Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me. 3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. 4 He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies. 5 He fills my life with good things. My youth is renewed like the eagle's! Psalms 103:1-5(NLT)
So take just a moment and praise God with all that you are. Praise Him with all of your heart and with every fiber of your being regardless of your present circumstances. You'll be amazed at what happens because you will find yourself in the middle of the very presence of God.
Amen! Thank you for this reminder to always praise the Lord! There is always something to praise God about!
