Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. James 5:16
Since joining CB back in July 2007, I have been moved at times in the manner in which people around the world come together and lift one another up in prayer. Last December, after getting out of the hospital, I read the blog Urgent Prayer Request posted by B2Y on my behalf. Oh how I cried as I read all the prayers my brothers and sisters here at CB prayed on my behalf! No, I did not consciously know about them at the time. I didn't know much of anything for awhile. However, I can tell you that they made an impact!
Today, B2Y is undergoing a cardiac procedure. You can read about the details in his blog Thank You For Your Prayers Come Wednesday . Over the past year, this dear brother and friend of so many of us has faced a number of heart procedures. God has brought him safely through each time and B2Y has continued to bless us here at CB.
Today, even as I teach my students, I am walking beside my friend B2Y and his wife Blest and lifting them up in prayer just as they have done for me on numerous occasions. Praying for one another... it is a part of walking together and something we always need to do.
thank you for the blog my sister and your friendship with others inspires and encourages me.. be blessed
I just talked to Blest AND B2Y a few minutes ago. He is doing well and sounds good. Praise God!
