The Daily Bible Verse on CB today is 2 Samuel 22:33 which says:
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure. (New International Version)
Over the past seven years, I have become more aware of that than ever before as my body and mind have failed me. I have become all too familiar with my fraility as well as my limitations. My "apple cart" is easily upset nowadays and I am left sitting in the road frightened and sometimes even a bit bruised. I can't fix it. Nobody can, except God.
I am so thankful that God, who is ever mindful of me, does not leave me sitting there along side the road. He picks me up, dusts me off, heals my wounds, sets my "cart" aright, loads me up and sends me on my way again. Best of all, He does not send me off alone. He walks beside me and keeps my way secure.
Truly it is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.

"Truly it is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure."
I identify with all you've written, and know that the quote [above] from your blog is as true as true can be.
How grateful I am for this truth, and I know you are as well. Praise God for His tender loving mercies and for His ever-abiding love and care.
Though not facing nearly as much as you ... I too understand and watch as this vapor rises onto the winds and no longer holds form. You words of His strength and security are ever true.
