It is that time of year again. It is time to place your orders for your Minnesota White Christmas Kits! Okay, so there were a few technical difficulties last year. I got carried off to ICU and hmm... I sort of wonder about the timing of that one. It just happened to coincide with production of these kits. Hmm... Oh well, never mind. I am back and so are the ever popular Minnesota White Christmas Kits.
There were also some slight shipping problems. If I am remembering correctly, Erin Cochran (@throughfaith) ordered one but it sort of missed her. I think Benjamin Foulks (@galahad) got it instead or perhaps @harkrider, Linda Young (@savedbyegrace) or Alan Nethery (@shadowalker). Maybe all of them. I can't remember. I just know a few people were hollering at me. Sigh... you can please some of the people some of the time but you can't please all of the people all of the time. I figure I am okay as long as I do not ship any to where John B. Abela (@abelajohnb) resides. I would not think of doing that for I know how he feels about snow!
Due to the problems I had with shipping, I hope to enlist the advice of Beth M (@blest) and Kirk M (@blessings2you). I know they're very busy doing their own shipping right now but perhaps they can give me some pointers.
Even though she is busy with school, I am sure that I can count on @cowgirldiva to help me pack up the kits. We're supposed to get four more inches of snow this week and more is in the forecast with no thaw in sight so there should be plenty to go around. I wanted to get Shani Matthews (@shanijane) to help as well but... she has wandered off to some strange place called "The Beach". I know Shani says Christmas and "The Beach" go together but I just cannot picture it! I know Alison Stewart (@kiwibird) is busy with her garden but perhaps if she has a few spare moments she can help me pack these kits.
I am thinking that Joyce Bethy Ferguson (@bethy) may not want to order one or herself, but they make great Christmas gifts, Bethy. Think of how happy it would make Anna Jones (@annajones)! She does not get a white Christmas very often I am thinking. Hmm... perhaps I should send one to Eileen Algaze (@ladyvogue). I think snow on palm trees would look very pretty and festive.
I know that Sandy Brooks (@poodlelady), Marsha Tyler Ronquist (@kraftykatz), Christopher Quek (@arisensleeper) and Lorie Polan (@allansangel) probably do not need them as they have kits of their own. I do ship to Malaysia and Singapore as well as the Philippines Tl Sia (@doulos), Tan Yeowhwa (@silverpen) and Maria Abigail Guevarra (@purifymyheart). I cannot guarantee that it will arrive in time for Christmas however.
Minnesota White Christmas Kits are a great deal! The price is right. They are absolutely free. That's right, you can get your Minnesota White Christmas Kits completely free for free shipping and handling is included if you order it before Christmas. Why are they free? Well... I uh... I can't guarantee they will arrive safely, especially if they must travel to some far away place like uh... Tasmania or New Zealand. Remember however, if you do not get your Minnesota White Christmas Kit or if you are not completely satisfied with it, I guarantee a full refund... no questions asked. You must simply return it to me.
That nasty white stuff has shown itself three times in the last 15 years where I live... you better not be sending any out this year!!
Weeeeeeell... ...I really would like to help but... don't you think it might ...melt...before it gets here?
k.. i would love to help, but unfortunately.. im just not quite cut out for snow.
the beach on the other hand... ahhhhhh... thats my kinda place. :)
Tonight I believe that my temps will drop to -10, that around 14F I think for those of you who do not understand grown up temp scales :)
So Although I am grateful for the fact that you have went to great bother to pack, advertise and post these kits at your own expense ... Dont even think about it!!!!!
As for Anna Jones (@annajones) wanting one... Im not sure she does, for she takes great delight in laughing at my cool climate. But send some over to Shani Matthews (@shanijane) please, if anyone needs a cooling down its that child who insists on speaking in strange tongues of the "beach" and "sunburn" and other phrases of which I have no knowlege.
K, I have to say that your generousity has far exceeded the boundaries of the season... please try to reign yourself in!!!
K, do you have a shovel that you keep for the snow drifts at your back door?. You may need it to dig yourself out of the trouble you are getting into for advertising these kits. Im thinking that I ought to report you to trading standards for violation of their policy of advertising something that is detrimental to the health of others!!!
Joyce Bethy Ferguson (@Bethy)
Harsh, Bethy...very harsh! When have you known K to have anything but the greatest care, concern and love for all her friends! She merely wants to share of her generous nature with you. Besides, have you asked the opinion of the Leprek..Lepric..Leprak..that wee green bloke you are married to? I mean, he might WANT to partake of K's very generous nature!
K, I must admit that I would love to have snow for just a couple of days. I have spent most of my life in Texas, S.E. Texas, where it has only snowed a very few times in the last 50 years.
And then, it wasn't much snow. Up North in Texas, it does snow. And I am sure that the people are not that attached to it. But, here, where the climate is only one zone removed from tropical...or so we choose to believe, we all would love to see some snow.
We don't want enough that we would have to shovel it. My husband grew up in the mid-west, where it was his job to shovel the snow. So, he assures me that his nostalgia for snow is limited. :0))
My daughter is the only one in my family (other than my husband in his mis-spent youth) who has seen deep snow. She spent Christmas in Wisconsin one year and she spent a winter in Maine...wow
Anyway, enjoy it if you have it, I say ... LOL
Okay, perhaps snow has gotten a bit of a bad rap so I need to do some PR repair work. So, here we go.
