Weeping In The Arms Of God

One of the lies of the enemy is that men (or "big girls") don't cry. We live in a society that views tears as a sign of weakness and yet the Bible records that Jesus himself, wept. While there certainly is such a thing as "cowardly tears", that is the exception rather than the rule.

There are times when we need to fall into the arms of God and simply cry. We do not need a sermon. We do not need advice. We simply need to be held by God and have a good cry because we are hurt, we are tired and perhaps we are even angry.

It is okay to cry. Like I said, Jesus cried too and He even admitted that He didn't want to go through the pain and suffering of the Cross. It is okay to be honest with God.

So go ahead and cry. Fall into God's arms and have a good cry. He understands your tears even better than you do. He knows it is important for you to express your pain, your bewilderment, your grief and yes, even your anger and indeed, He is the best one for us to tell.

Sometimes you just have to cry. Sometimes you just need to weep in the arms of God.

Amen well said and timely

See, this is probably one of the few times when I disagree. I have found that crying serves no use whatsoever. It changes nothing and only makes me feel even more wretched,
Im not saying this to be awkard, though at the moment I feel like twisting . I really do not see the benefit in tears.
Also destroys the makeup.
