Wherever I Am, God Is With Me And All Is Well

My son gave me a little music box for my 50th birthday this past weekend. Here is a picture of it:

He told me he saw it and knew that was the perfect gift for me. If you know me you will certainly agree... it is a K :princess: sort of thing!

The words inscribed on the cross are:

The Light of God surrounds me.
The love of God enfolds me.
The power of God protects me.
The presence of God watches over me.
Wherever I am God is with me and all is well.
Amen.

In all honesty, I could not possibly face each day if I did not believe that with all of my heart. I could not. The two physical "time bombs" I've had go off within my body over the past couple of years would completely overwhelm me. I know for I have seen what one or the other has done to so many people. Collectively, well, you get the idea.

My two big issues have been physical illness but we all have our issues, our "time bombs" which we will face at some point in our lives; some sooner rather than later. Regardless of your issue, as a Child of God, these words are pertinent to you as well.

The Light of God surrounds you! There is no darkness which God cannot penetrate!
The love of God enfolds you! He wraps us up in His love!
The power of God protects you! Indeed there is nothing else that can!
The presence of God watches over me! Even if you are lying there broken and helpless, God watches over you and He is with you!
Wherever you are God is with you! God is with... YOU!
And all is well.

My little music box plays the song Amazing Grace. I am sitting at my desk, listening to it play. The silver plate on the front of it has the words 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 inscribed on it:

That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our spirits are being renewed every day. For our present troubles are small and wont last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we dont look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.
2 Cor. 4:16-18 (NLT)

I am thinking of these words:
Through many dangers, toils and snares
I have already come;
'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far
and Grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me.
His word my hope secures.
He will my shield and portion be,
As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,
And mortal life shall cease,
I shall possess within the veil,
A life of joy and peace.

Regardless of the circumstances we endure in this world, God has extended His grace toward us and because of that amazing grace, we have love, joy, peace, hope and life everlasting. Wherever I am God is with me and all is well.

Blessings!

I looked at them and though "Wow! I need to get printed on a tee shirt!" I love your words too ...

How true this is! When we can accept that God can take care of everything and let him do so, then there is nothing that we need to fear. When God is for us, who can be against us. There is nothing and no-one that can match his power and glory!!! Truly 'Amazing Grace'! (-.-)/ Thank you, Jesus!
