Hello fellow Christian friends - I am a Chrisitan woman - mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend. I have been married for 18 years to the man I met when I was 15 years old. I am now 40 and have two teenage children who keep my life very dramatic. In the last year, my family has endured much change and heartache. My marriage was on the brink of divorce and we were separated. There was alcohol, anger and the world just kept hurling one attack after another. My heart was hard and instead of seeking God - I listened to the world in an attempt to improve my situation. I felt justified. In my justification, I continued to make one bad decision after another until God finally pierced my heart and showed me my own sin. It's so hard to believe that it's been a year now. God led us out of that place - He has restored our family - and we are learning what it means to be God centered. My walk with Christ began when I was a very young child thanks to my Grandmother. She made sure I got to church and that I knew God would always be with me. I have had long periods of my life where I was separated from God because of the sin I allowed to infiltrate. However - His grace and mercy have penetrated my life in the last year - and I've learned so much. I look forward to blogging here - and getting to know you. I love to exchange ideas and thoughts about God and scripture. It always amazes me how the Holy Spirit can take the same scripture and reveal so many different truths. My favorite pastor of all time once told me that the bible is shallow enough for the new swimmer and so deep that the most experienced will never hit bottom. Peace ~LWV~

Those are some really wise words that your pastor said to you. Please share with us your walk with God and what he has taught you. I'm looking forward to more blogs from you :)

Thanks for the warm welcome! And yes - alight - I have thanked God for her many, many times. Shes 89 next month and as she struggles with her health (mental and physical) - I am blessed to see that her faith in God remains.
