Shaped For Eternity

A SILENT PLACE Be still, and know that I am God! Psalm 46:10 Father, in divine love You lead Us to silent places where Your absence Is like a deafening echo that presses against the soul. With trembling confidence we cling to what we know because we cannot feel. Our sight is fixed upon that God-forsaken cross Where Your Son knew That in the darkest hours Are the deepest works ENGRAVED INVITATION How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!" 1 John 3:1 Father, You invite me to a journey that will change me forever. An intimate journey of endless tomorrows. I don t walk alone. You are ever at my side. Rocky paths are an excuse For You to pick me up in Your embrace. Your hands are engraved with my name As an eternal reminder of Your extravagant love. You lavish Your love on me And call me Your precious child . SHAPED FOR ETERNITY Jeremiah 18:4 But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him. Isaiah 45:9 Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' As softened clay within Your hands, This life of mine is Yours to command. I place myself upon Your wheel No matter what my heart may feel. Master Potter, You have a plan And I submit just as I am . With tender hands You smooth and mold As seasons of my life unfold. At times You twist and pull this clay When I begin to drift away. In the middle of Your wheel Is the place you ordain for me, A clay shaped for eternity.
