This week, Jewish people In Israel and around the world are celebrating Pesakh: Passover. This is one of the 3 Biblical feasts in which Jews were required to travel to Jerusalem. This is a very Holy festival to God's chosen people.
Jewish people around the globe who are unable to travel to The Land end their Passover celebration with the hope and prayer, "Next year in Jerusalem!"
This year, Passover coincides with the Christian Holy week. Many Jewish people AND Christians will be converging on Israel to celebrate the goodnes of our Lord. The hearts of many will be open, seeking God.
What a wonderful opportunety for us to pray for the salvation of those Jews who do not yet know Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah!
Let us also pray for our brothers in the faith- the Messianic Jews. They also will be travelling to the Holy city. May God give them the words to touch the hearts of their breathren.
And also, may we remember our Arab brothers in our prayers. It is a difficult thing to be an Arab Christian in Israel.
Throughout the year, and especially during this special time of year, may God bless all of his children living in Israel.
Amen, I am with you on praying for their salvation and praying for those who will be sharing the "Truth" with them.
Thanks for sharing,
Thank you for taking time to respond to my piece. May there be peace in Jerusalem today. -from Marjorie
