Saga of when a fire hits a family.

Sorry for not being in touch lately, but the fire has given all the family so much work. My assignment is to look after the 4 cats. The cat family consists of ... .. Sapphire, Kramer, Bubba and Strider. Sapphire & Kramer are brother & sister. They are about 15 months old. Bubba & Strider are about 4 months old and Sapphire is their mother. ( just thought you may be interested in all the stuff that goes on after the fire !!) So as my 2 bedroom unit has room for me to look after the cats, well that's what I am doing. They are very good at going in the litter box, and sometimes in other places!!! Well lots of sprays and perfumes being used!! With all that toilet stuff going on... well just let's say that it is a bit pongy at times in my house. It is interesting to watch the dynamics of this lovely little cat family and how they all look out for each other. I will get a photo away some time to you all. More news in this saga of when a fire hits. Next time I will tell you how Lynda and Don & their 3 children are coping. All the cats can now go outside and run around, so that is a great help. Much love to all at CB... ..Shirley aka mumbly x x :grandma:  PS This was intended for the wall, but was too big , so hence the blog.

It is soo good to hear from you . You really are busy with those cats and im not sure which is the biggest handful, cats or kids ! I am thankful to God that the only thing destroyed in this fire was a building and that God had his hand on your family.

I look foward to reading more about the aftermath of this fire.

Sounds to me that you are doing a great job with the cats. Like Beth I will look forward to the next instalment.

Hi Beth M Thanks for your comment. Yes enjoying watching the little cat family! Not so keen on the stable boy work!

Do hope Kirk is feeling a little better these days. What a worrying time for you both. What a privilege to carry everything to God in prayer. He is so faithful and we really can feel that the everlasting arms are around us, especially in times of stress. How good is the God we adore. " How good is the God we adore, our faithful , unchangeable friend." What a lovely old hymn that is.

Thinking of you both, and praying. Much christian love, from Shirley x x
