The series began by introducing the revelation of the message to be focused on. That message is recognizing the direct association between the forgivenss of sin and physical wholeness-healing-wellness. Jesus equated forgiveness of sin directly with the miracle of physical healing (see part 1).
Luke 5:23 Jesus speaking "Which is easier, to say, ‘Your sins are forgiven you,’ or to say, ‘Rise up and walk’?"
Forgiveness of sin and physical healing go hand in hand. There is a direct association according to these words spoken by Jesus.
Can you see the direct association between forgiveness of sin and healing in Isaiah 53:5-6 and 1 Peter 2:24(NKJV)?
Isaiah 53: 5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed. 6. . . And the LORD has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
1 Peter 2:24
24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.
There is marvelous benefit to be gained by taking into the depth of your being what Jesus is relaying to us through the miracle of the paralytic man - forgiveness of sin is being equated to a physical miracle of healing.
Christ atoned for our sin and His atonement for sin reconciled us (brought us peace) with God. Christ's atonement also brings the healing of spirit, soul AND body. Why should we continue to suffer the consequence of sin - sickness and disease - when Jesus Christ paid the price for us. He purchased us by becoming the only pure blood sacrifice God, the Father, could and would accept. Where there is no longer sin; there is no longer sickness or disease.
An important ingredient to this discussion is the understanding of what genuine repentance of the heart is. This was the emphasis of part 2 of this series.
Genuine repentance of the heart brings to you forgiveness of all sin; past, present and future, and the healing of the body. But, "You Must Believe In Order To Receive." In the depth of your being you must believe that with true repentance of the heart all of your sin - past, present and future - is forgiven and you can now walk in wholeness and wellness continually submitting to God and yielding to the work of the Holy Spirit as He works to transform you making you more and more like Christ. It all works together for your benefit when you have surrendered your life putting God at the very center of your life.
The missing ingredient to why there is not the number of healing miracles there should be and why people continue to suffer sickness and disease is the lack of understanding of what Christ's atonement fully accomplished and of the association between repentance, forgiveness of sin and healing.
We fall so very short of the glory of God. If only we were taught uncompromised truth. If only we believed in the depth of our being what scripture is teaching us.
2 Corinthians 3:17-18 (NKJV)
17 Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. 18 But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.
In Part 4, I will approach answering the question about the sin you commit after repentance and receiving forgiveness of sin. In Part 5, I will approach in greater depth miracle healings and walking in wellness.
Part 1 You Are Sinless, You Are Healed (Part 1)
Part 2 You Are Sinless, You Are Healed (Part 2)
It's really impossible to be "over the top" on this topic.
People really suffer from guilt.
And you are correct that this is a topic that merits exploring from many angles.
Some are caught in addictions. Most have some sort of addiction. How can one escape guilt when sin is constantly knocking us down and trampling all over us?
Others have thoughts that "race". They need to become far more peaceful and focused. Guilt is just one of the things they suffer from their disquieted mind.
Please help us with all these things - as the Spirit directs you.
Thanks for your loving ministry.
i pray that some will come back and report the spirit, soul and body as a result of these thoughts!
People so desperately need healing.
Some have addictions - most have some kind of addiction. This makes accepting forgivenness very hard.
Others have thoughts that "race". Guilt is just one of the things that may beat them up.
May God grant you wisdom and grace to minister to these deep needs
