Suffered for GOD is the Source of Grace

Matthew 5:10Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.5:11Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.5:12Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

The above are GOD's Words, it must be the truth and only truth. In fact, some time, the blessings are not only in the heaven. Some time, GOD can reward us on the ground also.

Kindly find a real life example of a spriitual brother, the one who I most respect. Let us name him Joseph (This is not his real name).

Joespeh is an adamantly pious Christian. In his life, there is only GOD. GOD is his centre. GOD is his yardstick.

He was the Finance Head of a Christian organisation. One day, he saw an email from another more senior officer asking other people be support and promote Focolare Movement. Joseph, immediately sent out an email to tell the truth. Jesus Christ is the only way, truth and life. A few months later, he was fired. He was unemployed for a short while. He then joint another Christian organisation. Once again, he saw a lot of bad things happening. He resisted all these. Within one year, he was fired again.

This rendered him a chronic unemployed. His wife, who was not a Christian, started to persuade and force him to give up his staunch stance for Jesus Christ. She also feared about future livelihood of the family because they had two young daughters. His wife started to quarrel with him severely frequently. However, he stayed on his faith and allegiance to Christ. As a result, his wife started to haunt him to divorce. They nearly divorce. He insisted not to divorce though he also insisted to serve the LORD as the old days. Luckily, his mother-in-law stepped in and stopped this tragedy to the family. The struggle continued. He also became a freelance tune musician. Everyday, he traveled to various places even during the hot summer with temperature as high as 33 degree celsius to tune the pianos.

However, though everyday, he worked for at least ten hours. This was because I called him early. He was outside already. I also called him late. Say, nine to ten o'clock. He wasstill outside. Every weekend, he went to the PRC to serve the churchs and kids there. I have accompanied him a few times. The travel on the road to and fro took up around 5-6 hours. With such a hectic journey, he would still teach the kids to play piano, tuning the piano of the church, organizing activities for the kids, peaching GOD's teachings to the kids.

His wife asked him to migrate to Australia. He compliedbecause this was not contrary to any teaching of Jesus Christ.

He was so loyal and diligent to the LORD that, in one opportunity, I accompanied him to the PRC church. Another church nearby asked him to tune the piano for the church. He went there and tuned the piano. Usually, ordinary tune musician will just spend around 20-30 minutes to tune the piano for the client even if the tune is still not perfect. That night, Joeseph spent two and a half hours to tune the piano of the church without any money, When he completed tuning the piano, it was around 7:xx pm. The pastor there insisted us to have a dinner with us. Though so late and so tired,he went to have the dinner with the pastpr.Eventually, by the time, we were back to Hong Kong. It was around 11:xx pm already.

Besides the toil, he also paid tithes to the church that he served. He also donated expensive pianos to the nearby poor churchs. All these donations are not tax-deductible and much more than his 1/10 of the income.

He is a respectable brother in my mind. I do not have the courage of him. I do not have the unrequited love of him. I do not have the greatdiligence of him. I do not have the unreserved dedication to Christ of him.

Grace starts to come to his life. As mentioned, he had migrated to Australia. As a result, he do not suffer from the turmoil that is now happening in Hong Kong. Believe that, from the experience of Thailand, Egypt, Tunisia....this will be the end of prosperity of Hong Kong. His migration is the grace of GOD to him.

His daugther, after migrating to Australia, had such a good results that she got into the medical school of a renown Australian university. Further still, his daughter is gifted for figure skating, she gets a lot of awards including two gold medals of Australian University Games. The most important sport contest among the universities of Australia.

GOD is a merciful Triune!GOD is a faithful Deity!

Psalms 103:13Like as a father pitieth his children, so the LORD pitieth them that fear him.

Psalms 103:18To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

Pray for all of us keep HIS covenant andremember HIS commandments to do them.

May GOD's blessings be always with us.

In Christ love,

Amen!
