Shanijane, hopefully you have some older believing women who live near you that can offer the encouragement you crave.
As an older woman I feel very blessed when some younger woman seems to be interested in what I have to say.
God bless you on your journey. Trician
Shani... my dear, dear, dear friend...
You come and we will walk the path together, learning from each other, and laughing fit to bust!
I read this just after our conversation and I want to cry.
Knowing you is a greater privilege than you can ever imagine and I look forward to meeting you at Auckland Airport!
Oh shani.. This had been the cry of my heart too..
And GOD answered my prayer by sending older women who had share a great deal in teaching me a lot of things not just through their words by through their actions as well. The blogs of k, beth, kk, silverpen and the others had also been of help to me. :)
I am praying that young ones (that includes the both of us) would seek the counsel of the people who had gone ahead of them in this journey.
There are still a lot of things we need to learn from them.
Well my darling, this blog of yours shows that you are certainly not lacking in wisdom. But then I think I did tell you that the other day, did I not?
We need each other in this walk. The younger woman needs the steadying hand and experience of the older, and the older needs the energy and the pure joy that the younger brings. So we are two sides of the same coin called womanhood.
all my love
:( I finally was able to read this. You mentioned it to me briefly yesterday. As a woman who will reach 50 this year and who's only child is moving out-of-state this week and will be married the end of next month, I guess I qualify as an older woman.
You have given me much to think about and it is very sobering. I pray that I can be an example to the beautiful young women, God's who are coming after me. It is a joy to walk with the young women I've met here at CB. You give me such joy! Far more than you can imagine!
May God bless you and keep you all the days of your life and may you always keep your eyes on Him... and live like the you are!
I am speechless Shani!!
What a joyful job woman have. Love, tears, laughter. Sisters in Christ.
I love you sweetie.
Wow, you write very well! Keep 'em coming, would love to hear more of you works. -shalom, Marjorie
