This is a very quick home meal that is really good! Ground chuck Sloppy Joe Mix (the kind in a can) Crescent rolls Ok I dont have exact measurements for the ingredients because it's one of those recipes that you have to "eyeball" to get right! Make the sloppy joe's as normal, in the amount you want. In a 13x9 inch pan, spray the bottom with some non-stick spray and then press a can of crescent rolls along the bottom to cover it. (Don't make the crescent rolls too thick or they won't cook fully and you'll have a gooey mess)
Put the sloppy joe mix w/the meat over the rolls and spread out.
Now place another can of crescent rolls on top (I don't recommend the buttery flavored ones they are too rich)
Bake according to roll directions and enjoy.
Very easy, inexpensive and not real time consuming.
Thanks for the new twist to sloppy Joes -this would work great for something quick when all the kids are here! All I'd have to do is ad a salad and a fruit dessert and I'd have a great nourishing meal in minutes. Since I'm disabled and meal prep has to be quick I just love ideas like this! :)
