35 Pounds of pork rump roast meat for $15.00...!

We turn to bible, ["...2 Kings 7:1 (Whole Chapter) Then Elisha said, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the LORD, To morrow about this time shall a measure of fine flour be sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, in the gate of Samaria. 2 Kings 7:16 (Whole Chapter) And the people went out, and spoiled the tents of the Syrians. So a measure of fine flour was sold for a shekel, and two measures of barley for a shekel, according to the word of the LORD. 2 Kings 7:18 (Whole Chapter) And it came to pass as the man of God had spoken to the king, saying, Two measures of barley for a shekel, and a measure of fine flour for a shekel, shall be to morrow about this time in the gate of Samaria:..."] In 2Kings there tell a story about Elisha. And Elisha when questioned about a pertinent drought, he prophesied that the Lord would bring great abundance if only the people would wait and put their trust on God. And it came to pass that the remedy came and the food the people wanted. But this blog is not about food, but the idea that God can be trusted to deliver in any given situation...! God can take care of the physical logistics easily, what is more of concern is our spiritual condition! Have we become unbelieving, apathetic, sluggish, blind, weary, tired or what have you? Our spiritual food and nourishment should be our prime concern. God's word was inspired to take care of just that, our spiritual condition! And I have to be weary of the heaviness that can come upon me... And one of the first symptoms is that we begin to self absorved with self issues and personal ambition. We forget and don't see anymore what God wants to accomplish in these last days. Look around you. The poverty, violence, depravity, hatred and mutal distain for people and for God alike. It seem that there are more devils in the world than people. I come to the point where you can hardly trust anyone for anything...! May you be blessed. Amen. thbg
