Before God splits, get a peace of the Rock...!

Call on God before it's to late. The clock ticks and ticks! The minutes run and run! We wrote about splitting rocks and getting a peice of rock as a souvenir from the museum of a distant city. The Rock lays on my table, like the ceramic cross ever reminding me of what is at stake and what business I have to take care of! The business of God! Lately we've been through severe devotion trials where we have doubted if our words went anywhere, and certainly the return from the neighborhood has been lax... But the response of some who make a happy habit to visit us as they surf the internet. And the machine records their visit. They have no Avatar picture. No membership. But they come, come over back and back and again visit us one more time! And we want to make amends with those who do not care for us, the machine keep track of them as well. I wonder if he statistical machine is really a blessing. It only reminds me of who does not belive what we write... But we what now? Make amends! We turn to Luke 6:27-35, ["...27But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you, 28Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you. 29And unto him that smiteth thee on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that taketh away thy cloak forbid not to take thy coat also. 30Give to every man that asketh of thee; and of him that taketh away thy goods ask them not again. 31And as ye would that men should do to you, do ye also to them likewise. 32For if ye love them which love you, what thank have ye? for sinners also love those that love them. 33And if ye do good to them which do good to you, what thank have ye? for sinners also do even the same. 34And if ye lend to them of whom ye hope to receive, what thank have ye? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again. 35But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil..."] And I want to do those that hate us a favor and save, maybe not them, if it becomes impossible but their children, from the sway of error. They are innocent and deserve a chance to life and a chance to come to know the truth. I would think that is only fair. We pray that those who do not see eye to eye with what we see, that perhaps God should bring glory to his name and help them from the trap the devil has set for them! I do pray for that! Please God, answer this prayer and give my fellow a peice of the Rock!...before it all ends...! May we be delivered. Amen. thbg

I'm not much of Rock here, and who knows not even a pebble to speak of. I could only give 10 scrungy dollars to C-B this month! But I had faith that if I gave the first 10 misleases the Lord would not come short of helping with the rest! And it's been wonderful witnessing how the gift have been coming in to the Chip! In! Bar! And we should worry, but then we shouldn't because the Lord is glorious and he will show you the way you can give a little...

I was watching 'Smallville' on a network and I thought that was a catchy name to where SuperMan lives. And I thought about this site and thought about it as another "Smallville" but it is where the Rock makes his stops and then it is not so small after all. But do pray for this town or site if you will. Today episode in 'smallville' Louise is possesed by this alien force that hates SuperMan and goes against his love Clark, and tries to destroy him...

But SuperMan is his wisdom, does not take it personally and helps Louise come back to her normal self, caring self. And I'm just reminded of Jesus on the Cross, Super God, did not take our sins personally and said, "...Father, please forgive them, for they do not know what they do...!" I was touched by the composure of SuperMan to love Louise while she tries to gnaw him to death! And I'm glad Jesus did not take it personally when I did not know any better and put him on that Cross! What devine composure, if I could have a dint of that!?...I...I...

May you be blessed. Amen.

And sometimes the trial is set up to where to draw the line of forebearances and where we stand for the truth. The fact of the matter is that sin is sin and we have to confess it and repent of it. And we can't go on saying your ok and I'm ok if we both are walking in error. And love covers a multitude of sins and forebears much but we can't fall asleep and let everything go with the bath-water. And the prayer is that God has mercy on all of us as we walk together toward what is truth and what is right...

May you be blessed. Amen.
