Going the other way...!

I don't do featured blogs or sponsored blogs! And I don't think I need it right now, like mine Power URL, which is magic for my business!... Let's place an ad here, because that is what I was thinking about, ["...The Things We Sometimes Forget Sometimes it seems we forgot some of the more important things in the Christian life. sponsored blog by abelajohnb..."] And I thought, "Is there anything important in the Christian life?..." We should turn to this or that blog by John and find out! And I thought, "...I tithe, I fast, I pray, I love(?), I care(?), I show consideratioin(?), I...(?)... And after my greatest blog flopped to my expectations, I decided to go outside and feed the pigeons and give the dog some treat to make it way its tail and make me feel better!... And opened my little bible and turn to Acts 10:1-4, ["...1There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God..."] And my conjecture is that God remembers those that are kind and what they do! Now kindness is a commodity so much coveted and needed, God respect no matter who, where, whom, why, lift his soul to do that! I wanted to go the other way, and think about those charities who fight cancer, diabetes, birth defects, poverty, cruelty to animals and so many more!... Perhaps they are all so secular, but God does not shun the kind gestures of anyone who cares for his fellow creation! And I thought perhaps we can learn something from all of this! I heard love make the world go around! Is the world getting ahead of me? In the matter of kindness???!!!... Blessings. Amen. thbg thbg

Awesome message about kindness, Brother Thbg! Rahab showing kindness to the 2 spies comes to mind. And Israel spared her and her family-kindness repaid! God Bless you! Dave

Thank you 'child' for your kind insight in this subject of kindness! I hadn't thought of Rahab even remotely! Wonderful reference! And I think the Samaritan in the Parable of the good Samaritan, got the respect of God while, the priest and the levite, who passed the beat man by, and who knew

the law, just did not think that helping the man would be that important to do for them or even to God, though they were the teachers of what God commands...

Blessings. Amen.

Brother Frank, yes, kindness is one of the fruits of the Holy Spirit. I believe it is one of the quality of a person or a Christian that the Lord appreciates and desires us to have.

Thanks for sharing and giving me encouragement to be kind to others. The Lord will notice that.

Blessings always

My comment will be"giving a peek" into my next blog. My pastor said last week after the end of bible study, dont forget about people. One of the worship leaders this past Sunday, was talking about "dealing with people" and I had one of those weeks. It was more than the usual amount of"dealing with people when they( to be honest) were getting on my nerves with"drama.' God gave me what I needed when I asked for it to deal with them in a loving godly way. Thank you as always for your inspirating and encouraging blogs. be blessed
