I did everything but ask...!

Sometimes God reveals himself to the simple minded. Jesus said that unless I turn and become like a little child I by no means enter the kingdom of God. I like to believe, I have a hint of what that is talking about. I had suffered from a chronic malaise of the spirit for long time. I tried everything. I thought I would be more obedient. I thought I would be more diligent. I thought I would be more wisdom minded. I thought I would be more clever and dicerning. And I really never got close to having relief!... After writting about the goodness of God's grace, I was close but, who is this God that you only have to ask to recieve. It is so simple. Ask ask you shall recieve! This morning I asked God, Dear God please give me my daily allotment of peace for this day...And a hour later I'm here to write about it! I hope you are blessed to read this blog. It seems God reveals his most precious treasure when nobody is looking. What a tragedy. In the movie, the girl with cancer, perhaps yes or perhaps no, but for two hour they did not ask God to help them... Maybe It is not God's will to deliver, but then who has know the mind of God? All the struggle I went through to have some peace of mind and now I have it for simply asking. And I think that if we come to stumble and learn this amazing thing, our life will never be the same!...At this time we ask God to continue. We turn to passage in Acts 14:21-23 where it says, ["... 21And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch, 22Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God. 23And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed...] Yea it takes a lot to learn to simply ask God for what we need or perhaps something we would want. Once we understand that God is the giver of all things we learn to say thanks and call on him for what ever need or reason. May you be blessed. Amen. thbg
