Intermission...take a break...!

I looked out and no I couldn't see any stars, but I was refreshed to look into the void of darkness outside my window. The silky night. There used to be popular song way then called, "Nights in white satin...!" ... Nights in white satin, Never reaching the end... ... When thbg talks like this, he is had for the day! And what about you is your night a night in white satin, while we wait for the watches in the night. The horse and cow in the barn or stall. The kitchen silent. The kids fast going asleep! This is my worst hour. I have trouble sleeping. I lay or sit awake asking the Lord more questions. Did we defend the truth like we should? Did we gain a brother or a sister today! Were we rude and callous at some time!?... I never remarried after my divorce. My x is sick and I just pray for her every night. We had a lot's of problem-me! and then he, and then the other woman, a disaster! And I just couldn't do it again! The bible is my companion now! Perhaps it should not be that way! It is not good for a man to be alone! But that's the way things are right now! But it is not lament but a ritual while my mind takes flight and it's time to give the Lord thanks for everything he's done for me and us today..! ... Letters are written, Never meaning to send... ... No. I've sent all my letters and given my little life away. Like right now! I don't know what end this will have?! Only after I log off will I know what I wanted to say! Sometime it's uncertain at what watch of the night the peace will come and set me home for another day and we give thanks to God. May he have all the praise and all the glory forever and ever...! See Yah! thbg

Ah Wonderful Peace!

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight
Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;
In celestial strains it unceasingly falls
O'er my soul like an infinite calm.

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,
Coming down from the Father above!
Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray
In fathomless billows of love!

What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace,
Buried deep in the heart of my soul,
So secure that no power can mine it away,
While the years of eternity roll!

I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace,
Resting sweetly in Jesus' control;
For I'm kept from all danger by night and by day,
And His glory is flooding my soul!

And I think when I rise to that city of peace,
Where the Anchor of peace I shall see,
That one strain of the song which the ransomed will sing
In that heavenly kingdom will be:

Ah, soul! are you here without comfort and rest,
Marching down the rough pathway of time?
Make Jesus your Friend ere the shadows grow dark;
O accept of this peace so sublime!

Thank you 'ptl2008' for this wonderful song that you sprang out of your treasure. Where you get all these wonderful song-poems...?

And thankyou Amanda for you kind fellowship, after we close the bible, like wine after the grapes beaten, the peace of the fellowship continues and we tackle new challenges and each morning set our sail-boats for new horizons, with the Lord always at the helm of our lives...

Thank you gals for you wonderful fellowship, who said I was alone?...
