Jesus, does he have authoritity or not...?!

After Jesus drove the dealers out of the Temple with a whip he made. We forget the kind and forgiving God who loves everyone and everything. And the Pharisees questioned his authority to step in and do like he had done. We turn there in Mark 11:27-33, ["... 27And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, 28And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? 29And Jesus answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. 30The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? answer me. 31And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? 32But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. 33And they answered and said unto Jesus, We cannot tell. And Jesus answering saith unto them, Neither do I tell you by what authority I do these things..."] And most denoninatioins and sect and cults want to be sole authorized spoke man or people for Jesus and or God. And the idea we get is that if we throng together and have a meeting and coalition and then we can preach 'our' gospel and name it Christian. And why not? Aren't we free to do such? We'll have a media blits for subjects to come to our meetings and collect their tithes and offering and we are in business to grow and propell ourselves and that will work. We'll see the word of God how we see fit and even print our own version of the bible that best fits our views... And this phenomenon for some reason is very popular and has lots of success. Back to bible, turn to Mark 12:13-17, ["... 13And they send unto him certain of the Pharisees and of the Herodians, to catch him in his words. 14And when they were come, they say unto him, Master, we know that thou art true, and carest for no man: for thou regardest not the person of men, but teachest the way of God in truth: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not? 15Shall we give, or shall we not give? But he, knowing their hypocrisy, said unto them, Why tempt ye me? bring me a penny, that I may see it. 16And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. 17And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him..."] And this clerical individuals come to a point where they come to question the authority of Jesus to outline right and wrong. And they begin to question the text of the written word of God spending days and months trying to find a different hebrew, aramiac or greek root meaning to a word in the bible that best goes with what the their flesh want to do. One example is Jesus stand on marriage, divorce and remarriage. We want to find another word for adultery that is lighter on our concience. Why my next wife is nice, loving, caring Christian woman who would not hurt a fly. And we go and find a church that agrees with what we want to do than give up the next woman... And this is an example. But each will have to give account for his actions in Judgemnet Day. And back to topic. The authority of Jesus and his word. In Matthew 28 he tell the dicipiles that all authority has been given to him in heaven and earth to dictate to men and man what is right and wrong. And the authority of Jesus and his word, have no question to those who are Christian and believe what he says about any matter... May you be blessed. Amen. thbg

I was writing a comment about someone who wants to leave her husband and get a divorce or not get a divorce?! Now what kind of bad creature is your wife or your on the loose-cord husband? Perhaps your wife is not heaven anymore! And or your husband doesn't compare with anything worthy of an appraisal! And perhaps you are right! Somewhere in marriage, we bore and the road get uphill from that day you decide or wish you were out of there, that house and or relationship!...

Now what does God think? Remember what God said "My thoughts are not your thought, and my ways not your ways, and they differ as heaven is to earth!..." But what shall we do? We want out! We are tired! And perhaps mentally abused! And just in hell bored with this person who shares your life! And yes, we can take evasive manuevers and call the attorney and call all your divorced freind and help them feel justified in fighting back, why not?!...

This morning I was doing my devotional and the Lord said study this because you will need it! And I was reading about some that the Lord had promised to deliver them from their troubles and because he made a promise to the parents somewhere, maybe a slip but a promise and they want to claim that promise!...

But the Lord was not pleased with that arrangement, because his wife had become bored with him and wanted out and called othere gods to come to them and deliver them. And they thought they were special and blessed and that the Lord would always cater to them no matter how they acted! And I thought I was really something and somewhat especial and wouldn't compare with ill life wife I left behind!...

But this is what the Lord thought about those we leave behind and think about as sinners and not worthy of our company or even toss a word at them, filthy people! Turn to Luke 7,

["...22Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things ye have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

23And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

24And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went ye out into the wilderness for to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

25But what went ye out for to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.

26But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

27This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.

28For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he..."]

And he said of him or her we left behind,

"...For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist:

but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he..."]

And God loves that person you left behind and perhaps it was best, but make no mistake that God loves that person in way the perhaps you will never know!...So if you thing you've had it! Fine! But don't ever think God would of done the same, thinking of me at the hour misery at Calvary...Ephesians 4:32...
