My favorite habit is to call my God, Kind Blessed Mighty God! Thank you God for all your kind blessings and appointment, intercessions, provisions and assistings! We such a kind and blessed day and we just want to give you God thanks. Thank you for the properity you have afforded us, inspite of our sin and attrocities we committ. We never want to repeat them. Thank you for being so kind, blessed and patient with us... In this festive season, we have time of stress and we really want to stay focused on you and what you have already done for us. If it was for us we would pass on over the Passover and Easter Season, because you deal with our most precarious problem, our sins. And but we set camp for a few months and celebrate the accassion of when you we born a man child and became flesh, a truly marvel... But we want to ask that we make the best of this Season and bless us with you prosperity. Keep us sober and thinking about the coming year and don't let all our heart bog down in this stop. We want to keep going on the next season on the new year. Please help us thing of the changes in our life we want to make and help us take card early on the end of this year. Please help us to not over indulge in this season and help us remember what time it is in the gospel and the dark times that may come... Thank you so much for the love that you have for us and the care and the comfort! Please bless us with our loves ones and if anything else help us remember to help and pray for those who are less fortunate than ourselves. If we pray help us to forgive if anything anyone has anything against us and put our gift on the altar and reconciliate with those loose ends. Thank you so much. Please watch over us and keep us safe and help us to always grow and understand more about you and your Son Jesus. May you be blessed. Amen... thbg
I really wanted to point out that we stay focused and look for the next festive holiday, Passover in Spring. We know that Christmas is around the corner and we want to have the Christamas spirit. And how the children love this holiday of gift giving and receiving. But somehow I'm led in heart that we look forward to the next bible holiday, Passover and focus still on the redemptive work of Jesus on the Cross. And it is hard to get away from this Season with celebrating, but I'm speaking about what is sober to do ...
We'll that is my 3 cents on what I think. If anything else, I hope you have a festive Christmas holiday in the end. May you be blessed. Amen.
But the idea is to always have vigil for the gospel and keep the candle of light burning. We turn to John 4:31-38,
["...31In the mean while his disciples prayed him, saying, Master, eat.
32But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of.
33Therefore said the disciples one to another, Hath any man brought him ought to eat?
34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.
35Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest.
36And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.
37And herein is that saying true, One soweth, and another reapeth.
38I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed no labour: other men laboured, and ye are entered into their labours..."]
And certainly the dicipiles wanted their Master to eat and drink and focus on physical matters, but Jesus concerned he was, said that to keep proclaming the gospel was what woke him every morning and kept him up at night. And we must warn to not let away with the distraction of the festivity that we fall asleep on what is really going on and what is really at stake. And again those in our life who do not care if the gospel comes or goes will not usher you to be mindful of it, but take away into other matters of this world and life...
Keep awake! May you be blessed. Amen.
