Life goes on as it carries from day to day. But each day we must be the more, most watchful that our focus is on God Jesus. Loaded eschedules, loaded lives with entertainment and distractions. And we must be careful for over indulgence. My take is that we should not avoid our quiet time with the Lord and the confession of our sins. Being thankful for everything God has done for us and will do in the future. We turn Ephesians 1:3-10, and we should praise God, ["... 3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 4According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: 5Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, 6To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved. 7In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; 8Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence; 9Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself: 10That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:...] If we look intently at this passage and there's a lots of to be told and known and treasured. Since we have all spiritual blessings in heaven through Christ who reveals all secret to us. And makes clear that he has chosen us before the foundation of the world, before we had parent or earth to live in. And God has accepted us through the work on the cross of our Mighty Lord Jesus. And we inherit all blessings beyond the imagination. And together with the blessings of eternal life, wisdom and prudence... And he has made known the mystery of his will though the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, thought the same wisdom God gives us. And we have knack to understand the will of God. We have the inside story on matters because God has made us his friends. And in the end, join everything in heaven and those thing in, on earth. Because there will be only one Lord, one baptism and one communion with each other. And this is truly all wonderful revelation and it is all through Christ and nothing else... And we thank God for all your wonderful blessings in the wonders of Christ... Blessings. Bye! thbg
Sometime life is fearful. All the nice appointments and amenities. We often wonder if we are ready for time of need...? But the truth of the matter is so shocking, who would of believe it...? We we believe if God told us so...? And what does he tells us...? We turn to Psalm 23,
["...1The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
4Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever...]
The Lord is faithful to carry us through all trial and time of need, today, tommorrow and forever. I just took my mother to her Realtor Class. And she had to make a presentation which was told impossible for anyone to put together, but we prayed and put it together and visited the open house and talked to the Realtors and grace of the Lord was upon them to them show us kindness, though we are wayward and simple...
Now what is the Key to open this treasure of Grace. Turn to Psalm 1,
["...1Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
2But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.
3And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.
4The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.
5Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish...]
The formula is so simple if we only listen to what God has to say. I don't mean to whom you have entrusted your trust, but what I mean listen to God. We can't stress this enough! No other counsel can bring the peace and blessings God promises, only listening to him can do that! Creative whims and poetry of the imagination do not work if they are not based on the word of God...We'll keep this short...But I hope, God hope you catch on...!
Now the blog is a blog of thanks to God. Sometime we go from hour to hour and from day to day and so on and we never get to point in the story where we thank God for anything. That's why the gospel of works is so malicious, where we say, "We've done ourselves, no thanks to you God...!" And that is inspired by you know who with the pitch fork if you may. It is something cloaked in white robes designed to shed red blood, innocent blood...
And the dissimulation is very white outside, but inside is a grave and granade filled with shrepnel ready to kill those who happen to be nearby. And what does this have to do with this blog of thanks. Like we said, we want to do it all by ourselves, thank you much! And we have to be giving up these ideas as the hour of his coming draws near! We turn to Revelations 19:11-16,
["...11And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
12His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
13And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
14And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
15And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
16And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS...]
Now this day will come to pass in history, in the future, near future, and heaven will open and he will decend to the earth. And we want to be ready for him with joy and rejoicing and thanks-giving. Now why wouldn't we want to give thanks to such a glorious God for all he's done for us...My God Jesus have everlasting dominion...Amen!
P-R-A-I-S-E T-H-E L-O-R-D for the glorious hope of His coming.
In these, the closing days of time,
What joy the glorious hope affords,
That soon""O wondrous truth sublime!
He shall reign, King of kings and Lord of Lords.
He's coming soon, He's coming soon;
With joy we welcome His returning;
It may be morn, it may be night or noon""
We know He's coming soon.
The signs around""in earth and air,
Or painted on the starlit sky,
God's faithful witnesses""declare
That the coming of the Savior draweth nigh.
The dead in Christ who 'neath us lie,
In countless numbers, all shall rise
When through the portals of the sky
He shall come to prepare our paradise.
And we, who living, yet remain,
Caught up, shall meet our faithful Lord;
This hope we cherish not in vain,
But we comfort one another by this word.
See you thbg .. we shall meet in the air! Be faithful!
'ptl2008' you woke up me up from the kindess sleep. I felt so refreshed. It's 1:36 in the morning in my town. And I just had to get up who is stirring up the Lord this early in my morning?! Thankyou for this wonderful serenade to the Lord. In my old town Mexico, the groom to be would serenade his delightful senorita to conquer her love. And this morning the bride of Christ serenade the groom to pick up the pace of his stallion and rush to her side...
And so we serenade Christ to quicken his return and make his appearing bright, perhaps in the stealth of the night, or close to the break of dawn, only his knows when...
Of the kindness slumber I remember and be awakened,
["...2He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake...]
God even in our sleep he blessed us...May you have a good morning, day and afternoon...
Dear thbg--"To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved." That one statement makes all the difference in the world and in eternity. Doesn't it? Thank you for quoting that. :) YBIChrist--Ron
Thank 'standingalone1229' and Ron for taking the time of day to praise God. It good and proper to do that. And the promises of God are sure and certian to blessed and be accepted in the beloved...you all take care and keep in touch! Blessings. Amen.
