Pastor D and Pastor M...

I don't when it all happen that I got involved with all this Pastors at my Church! But suddenly they have become part of my spiritual team and couseling corner! And I used to be a fellow Parishner and now they have become tool in my toolbox for the gospel and fellow Pastors in the same task hoping to reach the lost! I did not stay for the service, just the counseling session with them Pastors and some worship song in the congregation... The Spirit took to some secular business and I really don't know why we couldn't stay there. But we had a sumptious breakfast, enchiladas with scrambled eggs and drink. As always I did not have a cent on me. My father paid the tab and we had a nice peaceable morning and got some errand done for them! We turn to 2Chronicles 24:1-5, ["...1Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years. 2And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left. 3For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images. 4And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and strowed it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them. 5And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem..."] Josiah was a child when he began to reign and that's when good counsel should start taking root. If only all of us were that lucky to have a heart that listened to the Lord at that tender age, it would make all the difference. I wish I had someone teach me the right way when I was a child and perhaps I could of avoided a lots of heart-ache in my life. But now it is not possible. And I pray someone has he gift of reaching and talking to youngsters and leading them in the right way early in life... But Josiah did what was right in the sight of the Lord and burned the bones of the liar priest and torn down all their places of false worship. Getting counsel at an early age is must for success and save a lots of time, effort, and money in persuing vain and useless endevours. If any here listening at a young age, take counsel early and make the right choices and get on the good road early. Do not wait till someone has to drag you out of a well to get the message... May you be blessed. Amen. thbg

And stewards of God's grace should be faithful and sincere, 1Corinthians 4:1-2,

["... 1Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.

2Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful..."]

And stewards should have knowledge and know the mysteries of God and well founded on God's word and far more accountable for what they spell and assert and be the examples of their advice and teaching, with a quiet, reverent life...

May you be blessed. Amen.

Good advice thbg! Brings to mind Titus 2: "1 But as for you, speak the things which are proper for sound doctrine: 2 that the older men be sober, reverent, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience; 3 the older women likewise, that they be reverent in behavior, not slanderers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things€” 4 that they admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be blasphemed.
6 Likewise, exhort the young men to be sober-minded, 7 in all things showing yourself to be a pattern of good works; in doctrine showing integrity, reverence, incorruptibility, 8 sound speech that cannot be condemned, that one who is an opponent may be ashamed, having nothing evil to say of you."

Many blessings, 2G
