I went ahead and took some of my grandkids to a sumptious fish food restaurant, who God made affordable with the kids menu! And a trip to Barnes and Nobel, that cost a little more but learning to read well is priceless! And we went to canyon by the mountain and experience God's wonder that was more speachless! And I unsuspectible ran out of money, and energy, and especially the mental one! I was invited to a college basketball game, I don't see how I will fare there with what I have in strength for the rest of this day...! But we turn to Acts 8:26-32, ["... 26And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert. 27And he arose and went: and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, 28Was returning, and sitting in his chariot read Esaias the prophet. 29Then the Spirit said unto Philip, Go near, and join thyself to this chariot. 30And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readest? 31And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. 32The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before his shearer, so opened he not his mouth:..."] And we spoke about vainity and avoiding self glory, but if the prophets of the Lord some one has to put out the message, while the prophets return to their duty and stop taking breaks! And people need for someone to explain things! I had someone explain something the other day and I just marveled at the wisdom of some freind who contacted me! And this morning another freind made clear the meaning of some blog I supposed to have written and she made everthing clear in the Lord, thank you Anita... And the point is not to know it all but to share of what ever we have. One dollar- two fify-cent coins, one dime-two nickles, and the fact of the matter is that the Lord is not impressed with amounts but with chartity and freindly giving. We turn to Revelations 2:1-7, ["... 1Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks; 2I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and hast found them liars: 3And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name's sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted. 4Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. 5Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. 6But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate. 7He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God..."] Now work comes out of our strentgth and diligenge, and dicernment out of the mind to tell one from the other, but charity come from the heart committed and bonded to Christ! I can ramble and discuss and accuse and point out falsehood presumably and have all knowledge and we know we are dreaming, but real concern and heartfelf prayer for each other is from God. God is love and there nothing like simple sypathy and kindness with courtesy with foregearance and ultimatedly forgiving one another. Ephesians 4:32... Can avoid but blessing someone who let you in, in a long line of traffic! And God says emphatically that by this will all men know we are his dicipiles if we have a fountain love for each other in our midst, Jesus namely. And this Easter, pray we with me that we renew our vows to God to forgive one another and be patient a little with those who don't undertand us or what we say. God thougth the same about us at one time when we too were with out light in the world or in the heart! For Jesus sake let us forbear each other one extra mile! Perhaps we can learn that "He is not heavy, he is my brother and or sister...!"... May you be blessed. Amen. thbg
And we can speak of kind fellowship and chatting with each other and praying for each other, but do we really make a real deliverate attempt to be kind and merciful out of sheer faith of what God says?...
["...25 If a man sins against another man, God can intercede for him, but if a man sins against the LORD, who can intercede for him?" (A) But they would not listen to their father, since the LORD intended to kill them. (B)..."]
Having not faith is deliverate sin against the Lord and it is a severe situation. And we turn to Romans and God asks what we can do for each other,
["... 1 Therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, I urge you (A) to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, (B) holy and pleasing to God; this is your spiritual worship. [a] 2 Do not be conformed (C) to this age, (D) but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, (E) so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will (F) of God.
Many Gifts but One Body
3 For by the grace (G) given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. (H) Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith (I) to each one. 4 Now as we have many parts in one body, (J) and all the parts do not have the same function, 5 in the same way we who are many (K) are one body in Christ (L) and individually members of one another. 6 According to the grace given to us, we have different gifts: (M)
If prophecy, (N) use it according to the standard of faith;
7 if service, (O) in service; if teaching, (P) in teaching;
8 if exhorting, (Q) in exhortation; giving, with generosity; (R)
leading, (S) with diligence; showing mercy, with cheerfulness. (T)
9 Love must be without hypocrisy. (U) Detest evil; (V) cling to what is good. 10 Show family affection to one another with brotherly love. (W) Outdo one another in showing honor. (X) 11 Do not lack diligence; be fervent in spirit; (Y) serve the Lord. (Z) 12 Rejoice in hope; (AA) be patient in affliction; (AB) be persistent in prayer. (AC) 13 Share with the saints in their needs; (AD) pursue hospitality. (AE) 14 Bless those who persecute you; (AF) bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; (AG) weep with those who weep. 16 Be in agreement with one another. (AH) Do not be proud; (AI) instead, associate with the humble. Do not be wise in your own estimation. (AJ) 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. (AK) Try to do what is honorable (AL) in everyone's eyes. 18 If possible, on your part, live at peace with everyone. (AM) 19 Friends, do not avenge yourselves; instead, leave room for His [b] wrath. For it is written: Vengeance belongs to Me; I will repay, (AN) (AO) says the Lord. 20 But
If your enemy is hungry, feed him. (AP)
If he is thirsty, give him something to drink.
For in so doing you will be heaping fiery coals on his head. (AQ) (AR)
21 Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good..."]
This passages is one of the better sermons of the apostle Paul, because it is about deliverate love, kindness and hope for us. Because then we know we belive God when we do things deliverately! And and we deliveratedly forgive our enemies and greet a forgotten freind and who know just for the sake of peace put to rest a long remembered grudge against then we know we have hope, because God will take us to great things...
I thought I write this message deliveratedly because it is all that is left at this moment and know for sure that I feel better now, just going over this passages and I know that they will deliveratedly help someone and I feel the gladness already...!
May you be blessed. Amen.
