We we go into a spirit of forebearance and love and patience and look out for each other. And we like to do that! Take a second look. Give listen ear and calmly take dissention! And thankyou for the guidelines of this site, where mutual respect is required. And we are blessed with such guidelines. We thank God so much so things don't disintergrate. But in the spirit of mutual respect, we too need to set course to where the truth is... The truth about God. About our fallen nature. About the singularity of the fact as Christ as the only way to salvation. And we cannot compromise with the truth for anyone, because many more God is calling to the truth. And if some fall away to error. We forgive them and we pray for them and we love them, but we cannot sometimes condone what they say and preach and we learned that error only hurts itself... We turn and turn to this scripture passage because it is something God wants to give us a gift together with Christ. John 8:31-37, ["...31Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; 32And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. 33They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free? 34Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. 35And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever. 36If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed. 37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you...] And we do not want to be proud and boast on something, like if we earned the gift! But the gift is privilege we have never earned. We turn to John 6:43-46, ["... 43Jesus therefore answered and said unto them, Murmur not among yourselves. 44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. 45It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. 46Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father...] And this ends the sequence of my troubling thoughts. May everyone come to the knowledge of the truth. Come Lord Jesus...! Blessing. Chow! thbg
The truth of the matter is that we do not want to apologize for the truth and its ramifications. You out there in the far-fetches of the world. We are here to serve you and bring you into a clearer walk with Christ. We have friends but our best friends are those who are lost and need a Savior name Jesus and boy does he mean to do you good!. We do not have open lines to call or fund drives to give. All we give out is Jesus crucified for our Sins. And it is as simple as that!...may the Lord call many to his banquet in heaven...
Perhaps we were a little stern with our dicipline and perhaps we should of been more gentle. I, we just wanted to illustrate the sterness penalty for error. God will forestay the penalty for error just because he is a good God. Which, who he is. But he won't allow error to prosper because it hurts people who err. We can wait. But the sooner we get on with the truth the better. The thief can come at any time and if we leave the window open, he will get in and rob our castle of blessings...
