Sunday Sabbath Sermon Message: The lord of the Philistines!...

Takin' on this message the Lord was not very pleased! And today the idol worshippers make adoration to their favorite idol! But the Lord was not upset bou' that! And the Lord is worried about those who worshop or worsheep, or hope fully truly wornship him!... And what could be happenin' in Heaven that the Lord did not want to put on the message for today! Let's turn to bible in 1Samuel 29:1-6... ["...1 Samuel 29 1Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel. 2And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rereward with Achish. 3Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which hath been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day? 4And the princes of the Philistines were wroth with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which thou hast appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men? 5Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands? 6Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD liveth, thou hast been upright, and thy going out and thy coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in thee since the day of thy coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour thee not..."] And Dav-ud took the vacation to bask with the philistines because he feared for his life and the philistines did not like this double-minded-ness of this fellow, disownin' his clan and curlin' up to them in some sort of self contrived notion of fellowshop with them!... And do we fellowsheep with Christ to fellowshop for what we want to hear?! And do we worn-ship him to give him what is left after we make adoration to our gods?!... And the Philestines have their god and they know they are idol worshippers and why does this David who called by Jehovas name, wants to feble-shop with them when its convenient!... And do we have shop with Jesus with fellow when it is convenient and when we need something after we gave in to everything we put ahead of him?!... And what do we fear the we double-mind like David and then judge the idol-worshwipes to then came back and how Christian I am?!... And what have you done that God is not pleased with you?!... Thanks all of you for all your prayers! And my life has not been all that right! U' Know I too, perhaps did not welcome the Lord with open arms! And after all the shoppin' for gift goin' on then the spirit become to get sad! And U' know we spoke about givin' the first of our gifts so we have plento to go round n' o' our shoppin' for our family and freinds!...

And the question is: It the Lord in our freind circle and since we pretend to celebrate his birth! And all of you obedient people those magi and wise men of old brought a perfect Messiah stranger a gift!...

And those who belief is in redemption of grace?! The is vibrant to spirit and love shed on in u' heart! And do like David did be double minded and pretend you don't' know the Lord when balancin' the checkbook and...debit card! Now the Lord does not want U' to go into debt for him! And he prefers a clear in blue dollar with peace on you heart and not a red ink dollar bill and you will not be altogether happy!...

Now where are we gettin' with this message?! Struck out? First base? Second base? Or it a hit or home-run in your heart? I just pray I continue to feel well and share with U' the message! The Lord keep me humble and always prayin' that you listen to his messages!...

I leave with a passage to meditate about and will in the spirit tell what is said!...

["...1 Chronicles 18
1Now after this it came to pass, that David smote the Philistines, and subdued them, and took Gath and her towns out of the hand of the Philistines.

2And he smote Moab; and the Moabites became David's servants, and brought gifts.

3And David smote Hadarezer king of Zobah unto Hamath, as he went to stablish his dominion by the river Euphrates.

4And David took from him a thousand chariots, and seven thousand horsemen, and twenty thousand footmen: David also houghed all the chariot horses, but reserved of them an hundred chariots.

5And when the Syrians of Damascus came to help Hadarezer king of Zobah, David slew of the Syrians two and twenty thousand men.

6Then David put garrisons in Syriadamascus; and the Syrians became David's servants, and brought gifts. Thus the LORD preserved David whithersoever he went.

7And David took the shields of gold that were on the servants of Hadarezer, and brought them to Jerusalem.

8Likewise from Tibhath, and from Chun, cities of Hadarezer, brought David very much brass, wherewith Solomon made the brasen sea, and the pillars, and the vessels of brass..."]

[...David servants...and brought gifts!]

Are you from the line of David or his servant bringin' gifts like we like the idea to entertain so much!...

I have done plenty of rotten things of which the Lord ain't happy with! past tense-being a drunk -present tense -being uptight! Our Pastor has been preaching of letting the baggage go and have Jesus carry our burdens as He says He will!! Beginning to do those things of which are pleasing unto Him! With power of the Holy Spirit! Let us continue to lift each other up in prayer (thanks!) and open our souls unto Him! God Bless you, mightily Brother Frank! Dave

Thanks Dave for your kind words of encourgement to confess our sins and weaknesses to God and to perhaps forbear other a little the way we want the Lord to look the other way when we still have trouble obeying him completely! I have a problem that sometimes n' my work I am critical and I mourn all the day for it!...

And then I am belligerent and then I continue to mourn the rest of the night! And I tell the Lord my sin which I call weakness, but then the Lord says to me in heart, "Your worst sin is lack of trust in me in helpin' my people find the right way out of the mess they are in.."...

And I say, "What mess? Can't we just look the other way? And what he says? If that stumblin' put them on a road of no return?! And what will the nice courtesy of lookin' the other way help them?"...

And I really think that God says this and close with it, "Pray always...that we are accounted...worthy...to escape...all those...things...that will...come...to pass...and be able...to STAND...before the Son of Man!..."

Pray always, the we don't fall into the temptation of the devil and want to quit the business!...

I hear you! This is the beginning! I can be rather tense at times-basically wanting to be like the Sons of Thunder in my zeal! I have butted heads with Pastors a couple times , and have also grown with Pastors as well! Exhortation-as it were! Very thankful for this! God has calmed me down this past week and I hope to stay as such! Faith faith faith and more faith and Grace! Like you, I pray that none of us fall into temptation or ever quit! There is a nasty adversary and his buddies roaming around wreaking havoc and may the Good Lord protect us all! And guide us and be in the Holy Spirit in joy! It's a bumpy road, that's for sure! But His Spiritual rewards are cool! Take care, my friend! Dave
