The good, the Bad and the Meek...

I'm feeling so good lately that I want to thank God and all my friends here that prayed for me. I mourn in advance when the trial come again to try me again. I just pray that I have a heart to put my trust in God and not let go of him for no reason. Now we don't know about the good, there none good, there's none that seek after God. Paul. The bad we have plenty of that in the world, in your truly and in whom ever your ever set you eyes and heart upon in this life. But let's talk about the meek. Moses, the bible tells, was one of the meekest of all the earth. Let's turn to Numbers 9:1-11 and explore this. ["... 1And the LORD spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai,(A) in the first month of the second year after they had come out of the land of Egypt, saying, 2"Let the people of Israel keep the Passover at its appointed time. 3(B) On the fourteenth day of this month, at twilight, you shall keep it at its appointed time; according to all its statutes and all its rules you shall keep it." 4So Moses told the people of Israel that they should keep the Passover. 5And they kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at twilight, in the wilderness of Sinai; according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the people of Israel did. 6And there were certain men who were(C) unclean through touching a dead body, so that they could not keep the Passover on that day, and(D) they came before Moses and Aaron on that day. 7And those men said to him, "We are unclean through touching a dead body. Why are we kept from bringing the LORD's(E) offering at its appointed time among the people of Israel?" 8And Moses said to them, "Wait, that(F) I may hear what the LORD will command concerning you." 9The LORD spoke to Moses, saying, 10"Speak to the people of Israel, saying, If any one of you or of your descendants is unclean through touching a dead body, or is on a long journey, he shall still keep the Passover to the LORD. 11(G) In the second month on the fourteenth day at twilight they shall keep it.(H) They shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs...] Now Moses was one who took every issue to the Lord as he does here about a question regarding the participation of some who had become unclean and he asks the Lord about it. It would seem very obvious to Moses what would be the answer from the Lord may be but Moses did not put anything upon himself as authority on anything. I wonder if Moses though he was anybody to look at, much less confide in to give guidance and instructions about matters. Let's turn to Pr. 15:22 where it says, ["...22(A) Without counsel plans fail, but with many advisers they succeed...] Now Moses wanted everything to be right on the Passover observance and he wanted to be safe, so he took the issue to the Lord. The Lord himself being a meek and lowly being himself did not think that Moses was being trivial with him, so he told him that the Passover was to include those who had become unclean and returning from dirty long journey. It truly typifies us, long and weary and truly unclean to partake on the slain lamb. Now we turn to Ps. 32:8, ["...8I will(A) instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will(B) counsel you with my eye upon you...] So meekness comes with wisdom, because we have the Lord to guide us. And the wonderful thing is that if we ask the Lord for counsel, his eye will be upon us to see that his counsel stand and clear all barrier from undoing what he decrees as the right way to go. Now we've not touched to much on the good or have we, the bad, we know what that is, and perhaps we can pray that we are meek and seek God's wisdom and instructions. His eye will be upon us. May you be blessed. Amen thbg

Just think of all we could accomplish if we put the same faith in the great I AM as Moses did!

I have ample trust that the Lord God can do mighty and wonderful things through us if we only stick with him and follow him all the way into the kingdom. Please pray that I am meek and teachable and walk worthy of Gods calling. The wonderful news is that God has no other plan then to bless us and do us good. May you be blessed. Amen.

I'm truly thankful to you all kind freinds for your kind amens and comments. I'm truly excited in the Lord that the Lord is channeling his irrigation water and watering his vineyard in a miraculous way. I'm happy there is a certain hunger for the Lord here and that is wonderful. A freind who wrote me private message asked for follow up blog on this subject. Please pray that the Lord brings the rains to water the vines -quite ready for the harvest. Thank you again for you fellowship and prayers. I'm really very weak and fragile so please pray.

May you have a good night and morning. Amen.
