The Worry Buff

Lately I've had a sour taste or feeling in my stomach in the mornings and late at night!!! And this morning I decided to pray about it to the Lord to help me see what was wrong with me!!! I just don't see why I hadn't asked before earlier- I could of had relief sooner!!! And the Lord showed me that I was becoming like Martha sister of Lazarus, being worried over so many things, without cause or need!!! ["...2.Luke 10:40 (Whole Chapter) But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me. 3.Luke 10:41 (Whole Chapter) And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things:..."] And I look out the lattice and window panes of my window and just look at the morning for a second and how is was just there without me noticing it!!! I worried with so many end-do-endos that I was beginning to bring harm to myself!!! Flipping the coin!!! Let's look at another matter!!! Sometimes we feel emptiness or certain discontent and disatisfaction sort of feeling!!! I had begun to feel that way too!!! And for that I prayed to the Lord as well!!! I was becoming dull and ineffective in thought and action!!! And Jesus tells that the cares and worries disable us to become really effective in serving him!!! In the Parable of the sower, the seeds that fell amongst the thorn are those consumed Christians with worries and cares!!! And Matthew 24 and Luke 21, tells us of being always alert and do not let the devil fill us with concerns for this life and worries

Yes, our enemy works 24/7 seeing who he can devour. We must have the armour of God 24/7 to be protected from harm and to stand up for the Lord. Always be wary - do not fall into or yield to temptation for we have been forewarned and forearmed by none other than our greatest Ally and Protector, our Lord God Almighty.

" Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God believe also in me"... I love those words of Christ in John 14v1

keep your armour on my friend. Keep praising God, and keep knowing that you are a blessing.

Hello, my friend!

Sometimes the cares and problems of life burden me with stress and anxiety. I think I tend to care too much about other people and when they have problems and pain, I internalize what they are going through and their burdens become my burdens. Then I suffer, too, not only from my own pain and problems in daily life, but from theirs as well.

My suffering gets compounded. I cannot rescue everyone though I would like to do so. And it is difficult to please people. The reality of trying to please people is this: when you are trying to please anyone and win their favor or approval, you will experience only tension in yourself. A person who always needs to please is always tense.

Trust me; I know! You want to keep the boss happy, the kids happy, the relatives happy, etc... Because if another person is unhappy, then you don't feel safe. You think there will be terrible consequences. So you are always careful of how you act and what you say so as to avoid rejection, because the smallest mistake can cause it.

When you live this way, you are not being yourself; you are trying to be the person who you think everyone else wants you to be. After doing this for a very long time, everyone always expects you to do what they want and what they ask and they get angry when you don't live up to their expectations. For instance, if you get sick and need to miss work and recover, then your boss becomes angry because you have inconvenienced her.

Today, I can identify with your feelings, too. Please take comfort with me from these verses and pray a prayer for us both asking the Lord to lift our burdens.

"Then Jesus said, "Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke fits perfectly, and the burden I give you is light."
Matthew 11:28-30

"I am leaving you with a gift--peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give isn't like the peace the world gives. So don't be troubled or afraid."
John 14:27

"I will lie down in peace and sleep, for you alone, O LORD, will keep me safe."
Psalm 4:8

Thank you friends for sharing my burden!!! I really appreciate it!!! And the Lord has helped me thank you for your kind prayers of concern!!! And I hadn't thought about what 'childofthelight' was saying, but to me the flip of the coin in this is that sometime it goes the other way and I get all consumed with self interest and not really reach out to others!!!

And certainly we want balance and care for ourselves and have time with God in in worship and meditation, but once the spirit is back, back to reaching out time it is!!! And we want to make the circle wider each time the clock goes around, but then there is time to just lay low and let the boat roam for while and think about God and sit listen to Jesus like Mary did, and rekindle our love for God once again!!!

["...27.Luke 10:39 (Whole Chapter)
And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.

28.Luke 10:42 (Whole Chapter)
But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her..."]

May you be blessed. Amen.

I just watched a movie called "Our Family Wedding". And it has to do with do away with prejudice and arrogant pride and traditions that can take the wrong turn if we use them for wrong purposes!!!

["...18Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

19Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them.

20Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

21Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

22Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;

23And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;

24Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

25But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons..."]

And the Lord, it says, that after he had given thanks and partaken of the wine and the bread with the dicipiles, took off his outer garmet and guirded a towel around his waist, and began to wash the dicipiles feet...

And we don't think this has to do anything with Easter, but taking a real focus on God, has to do with a real focus to serve each other!!! And like we've said, to get away from the cares of this world and its ways, and focus on God and what he really means!!!

Away from the noise and signals of the world we can focus on God, and this Easter is the focus on God and each other!!! Let's tune in to the sanctuary of God, you and me, and focus how God wants to among us!!!

Let's forgive each other this Easter, away distractions and cares of envy and revenge and hurt and focus on the prospertiy God will bring as we, nothing to give, but from the heart forgive anything we have against anyone, and or him or against us!!!

Ephesians 4:32

["... 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you..."]

May you have the kindest new morning, night, and afternoon, a whole new day!!!

May you be blessed. Amen.
