Who should be the least and who the greatest???!!!

Let's turn to Esther 6:1-6, ["... 1On that night could not the king sleep, and he commanded to bring the book of records of the chronicles; and they were read before the king. 2And it was found written, that Mordecai had told of Bigthana and Teresh, two of the king's chamberlains, the keepers of the door, who sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. 3And the king said, What honour and dignity hath been done to Mordecai for this? Then said the king's servants that ministered unto him, There is nothing done for him. 4And the king said, Who is in the court? Now Haman was come into the outward court of the king's house, to speak unto the king to hang Mordecai on the gallows that he had prepared for him. 5And the king's servants said unto him, Behold, Haman standeth in the court. And the king said, Let him come in. 6So Haman came in. And the king said unto him, What shall be done unto the man whom the king delighteth to honour? Now Haman thought in his heart, To whom would the king delight to do honour more than to myself?..."] And sometimes it come to pass that we are passed over for promotion and what a disaster that is!!! And perhaps you been given second chair on the band???!!! Or someone treats you like a second class citizen!!! And or like the Son in the parable of the Prodigal Son who thought his father has lost it by catering to his brother who wasted it all and blew it all with, well indulgence!!! And at one time Jesus dicipiles were arguing amonst themselve who should be the greatest???!!! That was a mistake and Jesus pointed it out to them, putting a little child in their midst and say, that unless we turn and be like little children, we will not see the kingdom of heaven!!! And certainly Haman thought the king was thinking about him when the king wanted to decorate a very important man!!! And perhaps Haman would of not have like what Luke wrote in the 14th Chapter, ["... 7And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them. 8When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him; 9And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room. 10But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee. 11For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted..."] and Perhaps Haman hated the Jews so much that his blinded him and had not read what happen to Joseph in Egypt and how he God's chosen went to jail for doing the right thing!!! And certainly Job was presumably a reasonably rightieous and just man who feared God??? And King David, a man after God's own heart, hunted for years by this angry king Saul and then his own Son??? And certainly the gospel is not so appealing in this light???!!! And but did not God had warned us that those who much was entrusted, much more would be required of them???!!! And certainly the King Himself, guirded himself, took his outer garmet and started to wash the feet of those who should serve him??? And this serving business of the gospel, well it is something we rather skip, together with the forgiving others part!!! But God wants to show us great and wonderful things like meaning and love and truth and rejoicing and joy and secrets held hidden since the foundation of the world!!! But God has chosen the time for this when we are in the middle of it all with apron on and tending the table!!! To be continued... May you be blessed. Amen. thbg
